When i check the app it says my

Priority date: 19SEP16

Country: Jamaica

Status: WAITING

Current cut-off: 22NOV15

Upcoming cut-off: NA

Can someone explain this to me please.

Hello I'm a Jamaica embassy filer myself. Don't worry about that date cause it doesn't pertain to you. That date is for the ppl with Nov 22ND priority dates. As well as ppl who filed in 2015 and haven't got approved yet. So just ignore that date for now. I hope this easy your mind a lil.

Is their system acting up ? I just got an app notification saying " your case status has changed to card was mailed to me " . When I clicked on it, it took me to the app where it changed the status back to " case was received " . Did this ever happened to anyone here ? I am so confuse. I am going to call them. Maybe they were trying to update the status to CASE APPROVED and accidentally put something else down. Sigh .

PD March 29th ( still waiting :( )

Nebraska filer with July 1st Priority date here.

Ive read about how the US Embassy will deny Tourist visas to spouses in SE Asia while Immigrant Visas are pending to avoid a fast track immigration but what are the chances of procuring the tourist visa for spouses from a different region?

i ask because my spouse is from the caribbean and has been denied the tourist visa twice. he mentioned he was married the first time and the second time he didnt mention it but the officer denied him and and told him he needed to apply for the immigrant visa. we continue to apply because i am pregnant.

any thoughts on how to explain this to the officer or apply for some sort of expedite? expedite either the CR-1 or the B-2.

help.

How didn't he mention he was married (the second time )? It can be considered as misrepresantation and cause lots of trouble including grounds of inadmissability..Never ever lie on your application forms or to the officers....

Pregnancy is not the reason to expedite the case...

Good luck to you in your journey :)
