Your time waiting at USCIS for NOA2 is the same as citizens, but afterwards you wait months/years until your priority date is current, at which time you may then begin the actual application process for the visa. Citizens don't need to wait for their priority date to become current, they go straight from NOA2 to visa application.

when u think the visa will have more in F2A thanks

The thing is, I don't really know what they're gonna ask for...I just feel like we probably didn't send enough proof for a bonafide marriage. we got married pretty fast (only a couple of months after we met, when you know it's right, why wait?) and we didn't have any official documents, I'm not living there so why would I be on his lease, he doesn't have a car, I'm not on his health insurance yet cause I have one here etc. So we just send 2 affidavits from close friends and some pictures but I'm really scared it's not gonna be enough.

(sorry for the double post, couldn't figure out how to quote more than one post at once^^)

As a matter of fact, when people marry they marry for their selves not for USCIS. And USCIS knows this. People will only be able to provide the proofs those are relevant and available to them.

Every case is different. In my case they could have demanded three kind of marriage certificates, so i provided them because its a trend and we have those certificates.

But in your case If marriage took place in US then only one Marriage certificate will be sufficient.

So different cases different requirements.

Wish u good luck, be positive. You will get it soon.

In fact you are on edge. Will hear soon from USICS

I feel the same as you!!

We sent tickets from our visits before we got married (passport stamps, itineraries)

Several photos (before, after we got married and some of us and our parents) The only photo we had from our wedding day was one we took of ourselves

2 affidavits from friends

Marriage certificate.

We went to Disneyland after we got married and we told them we were newlyweds and they put this big 'JUST MARRIED' and my new full name thing on our table..I sent that

I sent letters that we had sent each other, valentines/birthday/Xmas cards

Engagement cards

Phone bills

Receipts from the post office of him sending me gifts

We had our friend whose a minister to marry us in our house so we didn't have a chance to take any photos nor did we have a venue! I'm worrying that that's not enough evidence of a 'marriage'. But then at the same time I think, a lot of people who get married don't always have a 'wedding' so there isn't always photos. And then I think, how is my name supposed to be on bills etc when we don't even live together yet?

I hope someone can calm my little head before I explode. I'm half excited about finding out in *hopefully* 5 months but half dreading being disappointed!!

We got married in one of those walk-in chapels and the only venue receipt we have says something like "$65 cash" with a scrawled signature underneath! Lots of people get married in unconventional places. Not a requirement to have a traditional wedding :)

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

when u think the visa will have more in F2A thanks

Do you watch the visa bulletin board? http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin.html

Whenever your priority date (on your I-797 receipt notice) becomes current, that is when a visa will be available to you.
