The one thing that drives me nuts here is people who fail to update their timelines at all or who update it several months late. It makes looking into the crystal ball all the more difficult.

I agree with you. Even if I cannot blame them because they don't have to update their timelines, this system is the only way I can try to see in the future months. Without it, the process could be stopped or way after my date or right on track, I wouldn't know. and it changes everything. If I have to wait 5 years before I live with my husband in the US, well we just have to change plans and go and live together somewhere else. But for this we have to know the progress of the process.

Me too it is driving me nuts even if this issue is very small and shouldn't be so important.

But thanks VJ for maintaining this website. It helps.

Haha, wow!! I am kicking myself for reading this thread!!

We was 'Mr and Mrs Positivity' beforehand.

We filed March 12th, NOA1 date - 17th

Here's me thinking we will get our NOA2 on the adjudicated date given (May)

Looking like it's gonna be months and months though, huh?

Well, since Nebraska just released that it's processing within their 5 month goal, you could possibly expect to hear in August since you filed March 12th.

Every service center publishes a monthly report. Here's the one for March: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do OR you can look it up here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/times

Note that the MARCH, 2014 report releases information as of JANUARY 31st, 2014. If you look back to previous months, you will see this processing timeline is much improved. Hopefully it's reliable...

So NSC approved 9 September filers this week and issued 2 RFEs based on the transfer sheet data - out of ~30 cases in the beginning of the week. This is the highest rate of approvals that i've seen from NSC for a single month registered in VJ spreadsheets since i started compiling data..

NSC is really accelerating guys.. At this rate, remaining 18 September filers has 50% of chance getting response from NSC next week and should be able to finish up almost all in 2 weeks :secret:

This is a crude measure of course.. but trend is clear.. NSC is alive and kicking... Roughly speaking NSC has been approving more cases than other service centers combined.

NOA1 - Sep 26,2013

NOA2 - March 27,2014

Case not reached NVC.Runaround between USCIS and NVC :ranting: .

Case finally located at USCIS with help from NY senator's office, SCOPSSCATA at USCIS.DHS.GOV,NVCRESEARCH and one very helpful tier 2 uscis rep.

NVC received - 5/20/2014

NVC case # assigned - June 11

AOS paid - June 26

AOS sent - June 28

AOS scanned in - July 7

IV fee paid - July 15

IV scan date - July 21

Unknown package scanned in - August 13!

AOS Reviewed - August 18

Case Completed!! - September 10

As I said if you watch the timelines too they are more accurate and there's even more than the spreadsheets. This week they did 3 Octobers!!! That makes me so happy when I saw those. They approve more according to timelines than the other centers you're right! They finally kicked into gear! But yeah 3 Octobers. Yay!!

i am not sure how to pull the total number of cases per month from timeline.. this number will be higher in the timeline just like the higher number of weekly approvals registered in timeline.

I use spreadsheet data because it is easier to compile data from there for me and for months like September there is large enough sample size (>30 NSC cases in September) to provide a good representative sample and data is well updated/credible...

Hi

but im not citizen , permanent resident, u think next month??

Your time waiting at USCIS for NOA2 is the same as citizens, but afterwards you wait months/years until your priority date is current, at which time you may then begin the actual application process for the visa. Citizens don't need to wait for their priority date to become current, they go straight from NOA2 to visa application.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
