My case was approved finally!! My pd day is 29th March. My hubby and I are sooo excited now!!! Can't wait for the next step!

12/26/2015 Got Married

Our CR1 Journey

2/4/2016 - I-130 file and documents mailed to Chicago Lockbox

2/9/2016 - Received NOA1 via text and email

2/15/2016 - Received NOA1 in mail

5/18/2016 to 6/1/2016 - Visited wife in india

8/11/2016 - Received NOA 2 via text and email :dancing: :dancing:

8/22/2016 - Received NOA 2 in mail

9/6/2016 - Case was sent to NVC (received text & email)

9/12/2016 - NVC received our Case from USCIS... wait continues for NVC case number

9/27/2016 - Submitted -261 and paid AOS fee

9/29/2016 - Received and paid IV fee

10/9/2016 - Submitted DS-260

10/15/2016 - AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

10/19/2016 - Scan Date

12/07/2016 - Case Completed

12/27/16 - Interview date received over the phone

12/30/16 - P4 letter received

02/03/2016 - Interview, VISA APPROVED!!!:jest::jest:

Finally people! WE ARE APPROVED !!! I was thinking to call them today and maybe that reached their mind lol !! But yeah happy to exit Nebraska soon!!! :) :)

Congratulations to you too !! PD 29th March people got approved today and we are the lucky ones. Lets hope for the positive way ahead in the NVC stage.

Congratulations to all the last approved couples :)
Good to see things are moving a little at NSC, I know I still have a long wait ahead but it's upsetting to see the estimated processing date(s) moving back all the time when files are processed so quickly in the other centers.

Seems like lots of lucky people here lately.. Congrats everyone! That gives the rest of us a bit of positive hope :)

So I contacted my senator about my case even though I am just a hare over 4 months. To my surprise they had sent out an inquiry for me in less than 14 hours from my fax which was quite impressive and they forwarded me the uscis response in about 24 hours so that was kind of awesome. Unfortunately they didn't respond with anything spectacular which I wasn't expecting anyways. Basically they gave the expedite generic response which I'm sure they tell everyone..(as if I haven't already tried to see if I qualified for haha).. But what is so disheartening and hopeless feeling is my case is sitting in a box somewhere with in sure hundreds of others, for almost 5 months and has not even been assigned to an agent yet!!! ???? positive vibes are draining slowly... My random rambling for the day.. Good luck on the rest of the week my fellow petitioner fam ??

My PD is July 25th. It looks like I have to wait until December to get my wife's I130 approved. I'm already frustrated.lol

07/22/2016: I-130 sent to USCIS

07/25/2016: NOA1, I-130 received at USCIS Nebraska Service Center

02/14/2017: NOA2, I-130 approved (205 Days after NOA1)

02/27/2017: Approved I-130 sent to NVC

 

NVC

03/03/2017: I-130 received at NVC

03/06/2017: Case number assigned

03/10/2017: Received email with case number and invoice number & DS-261 Submitted

03/10/2017: Received & Paid AOS fees

03/14/2017: Received & Paid IV fees

03/16/2017: DS-260 available & submitted, AOS and IV packets sent to NVC

03/20/2017: Scan Date

05/22/2017: Case Complete (63 Days from Scan Date)

06/02/2017: Interview Notification received

06/22/2017:Biometrics done

07/01/2017: Medical done

07/11/2017: Interview in Mumbai (And 1st Marriage anniversary)

07/13/2017: Visa Received

07/27/2017: USA Entry

04/22/2019: I-751 sent early 5 days

05/20/2019: Case was return back to me

05/30/2019: I-751 Delivered to TX (2nd time)

07/25/2019: Bio-metric completed

09/19/2019: Interview, Case Approved

You will learn a lot about patiences during this process. We sent in our petition in April and are still waiting to hear about the first phrase. Hang in there. If you can, start reading up on the steps for the NVC phase. That's one part where you can try to speed things up.
