YEAH! Congratulations!

VJ Peeps,

Since I'm a newbie, can some explain what the Priority Date is and what it means? Thanks!

RobbieG

Dallas, TX

The priority date is stated on your Notice of action 1, that you received in the mail after you filed for I-130. It is a date when USCIS got and entered your case in their system.

So, that is the date from which we start counting our "processing time?"

Thanks for your help.

Hi guys.. as there is nothing happening to i130(02/22/2013) was transferred to nebraska in mid October last year. So I filed 129f(03/06/2023) and on 03/20/2014 it was transferred to local office which is texas. I was thinking 129f will be transferred to nebraska and both case's will be approved at same time. . Any idea or suggestions what is the progress going on in texas.

Same for us but our ARN changed in December. Did you do an I-129f petition as well? I was thinking that's why ours changed in December..because our I-129f got matched up with the I-130.

I haven't had a word since either. I was hoping it meant something :/

Same as mine. Our ARN changed after filling i-129f. Send 129f on 10-march-2014 and ARN changed 19-march-2014. No idea it got changed because of i-129f or wht....

Unfortunately, Texas has become a lot slower in the past week or so. The only really fast center at the moment is California. Nebraska seems to be picking up the pace a little bit, so you might hear about your I-130 before your I-129F.

Wait, hold on, you filed in February last year? What have you done to get on their case? According to Nebraska's own processing times, you are seriously WAY overdue an approval.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

To update my crude measure:

This week NSC approved 12 cases, compared to 4 by CSC, 4 TSC and 1 VSC - from those cases registered in the VJ tracking spreadsheet for months June to September only.

There are still 47 pending NOA1 sitting at NSC for these months (10 june,6 july,1 august and 30 from September).

At current rate weekly rate of 12, it will take 3.9 week to go through 47 cases.

I compiled some data from the tracking spreadsheets as a framework to estimate NSC wait times.. NSC approved 13 approvals this week from June to September (i didnt look at other months), compared to 10 from CSC and 2 from TSC . NSC has 49 pending NOA2s from these months. At this rate it will take them 3.8 weeks to approve these if we assume NSC will approve petitions in order (which we know they don't)...

Your formula and estimation is great! But they actually did about 23 from the 17th-20th. It's better to look at the VJ timelines with the filter set to "transfer: nebraska" the spreadsheets aren't as up to date I think, or some people aren't participating.

How many weeks do you think then, with the number of last weeks approvals which is 23?

So according to today's approvals so far, NSC seems to be working on petitions filed around 9/10 and 9/11. They've already approved some from late September though so I don't know if it's not just a coincidence^^

you are correct that people aren't participating in updating. I have went threw and clicked on the names that show they still haven't gotten an NOA2. On some people they have been approved and on others and RFE. Although I have seen only a few saying they still haven't been approved.

Do you guys still want an all Nebraska filers spreadsheet? If someone starts it (not so good with excel and don't wanna #### it up) I would put all the information from the other spreadsheets in there...say from june till now or something? Better than sitting here refreshing my USCIS status page over and over again ;)

Edit: we should prolly just put name, PD, Transfer?(date if yes), RFE?, NOA2, and then how long it's been(or how long till transfer or NOA2 if already approved) in there
