Do you know if the adjusticator can deny your i130 for being in a same-sex relationship? I mean based on his/her personnal belief.

Surely that can't be legal?

But like you I am beginning to feel we will be denied. Because my husband has a felony.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

I am beginning to think that we will be denied too. It shouldn't take that long. There must be a problem.

Maybe the adjusticator doesn't like gay people and is making us wait. Maybe they can deny based on that.

i would hope it would be similar to, for example, my mother who works as a nurse in surgery. If someone is scheduled to have an abortion she leaves the room because she does not agree with abortion. If someone didn't agree with something they should pass the file to someone else and respectfully decline to work that file. Just as my mother respectfully declines to partipate in abortion.

Have you checked how many around your date are still waiting? I am somewhat comforted by the fact that I can see at least 40 files from February 8th that are still untouched.

Other service centres are processing randomly too. Just looked at Potomac and there is an April filer recently approved but on our Facebook group there are Potomac filers from February still waiting. The current longest wait that I have seen is someone who filed last year September and is still waiting. California has slowed right down and is currently on December/early January files. Vermont is still processing January and some people wait up to a year there (but Vermont handles the cases where extra security checks might be needed).

Ignore the Texas processing times. The DCF applicants are listed as Texas so this distorts the figures.

I just feel Nebraska ain't doing anything. I have the impression that Nebraska is the SC that gets more petition I don't know if that's right but I just hope they speed a little up cause I don't want to be separeted from my older daughter and hubby anymore :(

I hear ya! No one likes the separation. Just keep busy. I think Nebraska do get more I-130 petitions but there are other visa types too. Overall. I think the workload is equally shared among the SCs and the visa types.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall watching them work, though.

Our batch has had no movement for two days. No approvals and no RFEs. Still around 40 files from February 8 untouched at Nebraska. I'm thinking they've been forgotten.

Our batch hasn't had movement since May 23. They probably lost a few files.
