Callan83 but why do they have RFE in their cases I mean some of those January I-130 filers?

We will ever know unless one of them is a member here and tells us what his/her RFE was for. Could be anything from a huge list of reasons.

I would love to know what are the USCIS procedures for the cases, I filed my I130 in November 30th 2015, it´s at the Nebraska Service Center, where they´re saying it´s taking up to 5 months for processing, and so far no news :( ANyone in the same page?

You should certainly have heard something by now! They are processing cases filed in the second half of January already.

Have you called to see what is happening?

I did read a copy of the manual for USCIS adjudicators that gives the step by step process that they follow in approving/denying an I-130 and it was interesting.

Timeline in brief:

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

You should be able to call them now as it has gone over 5 months.

From our tracking on here, Nebraska is processing applications from mid-January 2016.

I have already called twice, requested to be expedited, and nothing, they give me no news at all... Just say that we have to keep on waiting... Where did you finf that manual? Do you mind sending me the link?

In the website they´re not saying January, they´re saying November 3rd, am I looking at the wrong processing timeframe maybe?

Thanks

I'm a Dec filer and I was approved May the 5th. You are way over the 5 month mark. You need to call and ask for tier 2 person or you can call your local Congressman. But you also need to do a enquiry on your case and Nebraska will do it for you or you can do it online.
