Have you tried calling to find out what's going on ? Yesterday I went thru a few hundred cases and I see they have already started on January cases now with that being said some from 1/5/2016 were approved or RFE were asked whilst ones from 1/4/2016 have not even been touched .. I was advised that they do not work in order and some agents work quicker than others But Its been 5 months so if I were you I would call .. Ask for a supervisor GOOD LUCK

Good to see im not the only one who sits there going through case numbers to stalk the service centre hehe

JUST GOT OUR APPROVAL TODAY!!!!!!

Congrats!!

Hello all,

First time here, as I've just learned our i130 file has been accepted and sent to Nebraska. I've read quite a few posts but haven't gotten the sense of how many couples have filed from abroad as we have. As you probably know, there seems to be some expediting for such cases.

Any trends?

Thanks so much.

October 2011: Met in Spain

Took a long time to get package out because... life... and husband's family in Morocco had to travel to get police document.

April 28th 2017: CHECKLIST. Moroccans are required to send a Court Report regardless of Police Record status. My husband had to go back to Morocco to get it in person. Also, NVC wants a 2016 tax return now that is 2017. My bad.

Most that get expedited from the lockbox seem to go to Cali. If you're in the Nebraska centre like me (also filing from abroad like many others) I think it means we didn't get auto expedite (from all I've read). Nebraska seems to be doing 4-5 months from NOA to NOA2 but we are praying for a speedy answer. I'm a 24th March NOA1 so I'm at 46 days so far.

I'm also filing from abroad. I hope we can get expedited but It doesn't really seem like they do much of that at Nebraska, but it doesn't mean it never happens.

I'm just assuming it will be 4-5 months and if its sooner then that will be amazing!

how do you guys do that?, where did you find that info, as you can see I am new in here!!

Thanks

Yoel

Welcome to the Nebraska filers, you just filed and have quite a bit of time ahead of you. But don't get discouraged in the process control it at all times lol.

But I found a real good forum that was just for my month that I filed in. An we became a family group that helped each other out along the way in the process. But I went watched alot of other ppls timelines that was close to mine (Country, dates, service centers, state I lived in). Just to see how they processing was going.

After a few months I can go to the timeline section in the menu tab and see what dates the service center is working on. I wouldn't do it now cause it's to early and yall start getting nervous I promise lol. So Gud luck

I looked for a forum/thread for I130, CR1, May 2016 filing date, (and Nebraska, would be even better) but can't find one.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Yoel,I just looked and no one made a forum for May filers yet so someone might just want to start one. But I did find one that Is for April filers that maybe you can follow.

SabrinaJerome, you are a April filer so this will be your forum and maybe you and Yoel can motivate and encourage each other along the way. So go look at the link I just posted and hopefully it helps.

True... I sent it in April, but TNT couriers took TWELVE DAYS to deliver it. So my NOA1 was just a couple of days ago.

I will monitor April anyway, but I will be up to a month behind everyone there.

SabrinaJerome they go by your submission date not your NOA1 date. So you really are a April filer. But you and should start a May filer forum thread.
