You should track your case using the USCIS app to see how many case before you get approve. It helped me keep my mind clear. Good luck

Don't worry hold on. See month of February and if nothing happens, I'm reading in some of the posts you can call the USCIS and ask for a tier 2 officer and ge can tell you the details. This stage is really tough but we will all go through this hopefully. All the best ?

Aww... you should be hearing from them soon. Dont worry, just hold on.

One thing I can assure you is that you will be relaxed when you move to the next step.

Like i said, how long it takes depends on how quickly you have your stuff ready. You will need to be proactive and keep calling NVC to keep things moving. Take a look at my signature timeline. I put it as detailed as possible so people will get an understanding of how things are going. I was able to get my fees paid, documents submitted and applications submitted all in a week and a half. I kept calling them for updates so it kept things moving. I'm hoping to get a case complete by mid to end of next month, which would mean my time with NVC was 2 months.

From the moment i submitted our I-130 petition, i looked ahead to the NVC process and sent my husband the list of documents he will need to gather. He then started working on getting his birth certificate, police clearance certificate, etc.... it all takes time so we were proactive. So when it came time for NVC we were ready to go. If there is going to be a delay (God forbid there is) it won't be because we took a long time to submit something.

Read read read. i read a LOT while waiting for the petition to be approved...then my friends told me about VJ and this site has been so helpful! you learn a lot from other people's experience as well and they're open and willing to share. The more you read, the more it will all start to make sense. if you have questions, VJ is here to help!

WOW this is very helpful. I will be visiting my husband on March for 2 months. So i should take my police clearance certificate with me i guess. Yes i have to read and read again. Hopefully all will be okay Thank you so very much

If you're the beneficiary then you need to keep the original PCC and originals of all your documents. if your husband is the petitioner. He only needs to submit copies of everything. You will be required to take all original documents plus copies of those documents with you to your interview.
