This is a good sign! Usually what it seems to mean is that someone typoed when they were inputting something somewhere the first time and someone else is now looking at it and noticed, I think.

I had my name updated (It had a typo on the NOA1 that I never called them about) and the next business day I had an approval! Someone else in this thread had their address updated and had their approval within hours.

It's a very hopeful sign!

Met in 2010 on a forum for a mutual interest. Became friends.
2011: Realized we needed to evaluate our status as friends when we realized we were talking about raising children together.

2011/2012: Decided we were a couple sometime in, but no possibility of being together due to being same sex couple.

June 26, 2013: DOMA overturned. American married couples ALL have the same federal rights at last! We can be a family!

June-September, 2013: Discussion about being together begins.

November 13, 2013: Meet in person to see if this could work. It's perfect. We plan to elope to Boston, MA.

March 13, 2014 Married!

May 9, 2014: Petition mailed to USCIS

May 12, 2014: NOA1.
October 27, 2014: NOA2. (5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day after NOA1)
October 31, 2014: USCIS ships file to NVC (five days after NOA2) Happy Halloween for us!

November 18, 2014: NVC receives our case (22 days after NOA2)

December 17, 2014: NVC generates case number (50 days after NOA2)

December 19, 2014: Receive AOS bill, DS-261. Submit DS-261 (52 days after NOA2)

December 20, 2014: Pay AOS Fee

January 7, 2015: Receive, pay IV Fee

January 10, 2015: Complete DS-260

January 11, 2015: Send AOS package and Civil Documents
March 23, 2015: Case Complete at NVC. (70 days from when they received docs to CC)

May 6, 2015: Interview at Montréal APPROVED!

May 11, 2015: Visa in hand! One year less one day from NOA1.

I send in my papers on May 28 and I had an updated alien number on June 4, then nothing until I looked today and it said that on October 31st they updated my address. so hopefully I will be getting an approval this week. It sucks that these next 2 days they are off and then they are off on tuesday as well since it is an government holiday.

12/20/2013 mailed I-129f (just in case)

12/27/2013 I-129f NOA1 (NSC)

1/2/2014 ARN changed on both I-130 and I-129f

1/7/2014 I-129f updated/touched?

11/10/2014 NOA2 FINALLY!!! (after 356 days & 4 service requests)

Hi everyone,

I am a September 2014 flier and my PD is Sept 23rd. I am also at NSC and seen lots of stories about this service center. it appears that CSC has a less workload than NSC and they are quickly reviewing cases.

I saw comments about updated processing timeliness with PD info. Where do you find that info? USCIS site only shows processing timeliness (i.e. 5 months) by each location but they don't show which PD the service centers are working on. Is there a place that we can find such information that is legit?

From all that I've read it appears to be a very long process....

Anyone should pls kindly help me out with this..I receive my NoA1 November 4th 2014 saying my case has been routed to Nebraska and I got the hardcopy of it 7th November but since then I can't check mycase online ..it been saying case not found or check ur receipt number ...and it was the same receipt number sent to me on my email and same on the hardcopy .. anyone has any idea of this? ??

Don't worry its not just you. Its most of us. They did some changes to the site and it has been down every since. I pasted the news release they put out on the 10th below.

Oh really u are have same issue as mine saying case can,t be found or Check ur receipt number and try again? ...hopefully it will be back good and i can track mycase next week ...goodluck to us

But I've found the 'tracking' is a little uninformative...it basicall just stays on "Initial Review" the entire 5 months...is there any way to find out specifically how much longer till NOA2? My PD is 2 July, so hoping for approval within a month or so :)

2014/06/30: Finally able to file I-130 (Nebraska)
2015/01/21: NOA2 (6 months and 19 days)
2015/02/24: Pay both AOS and IV fees
2015/05/05: Submit AOS packet
2015/05/05: Submit IV packet
2015/05/08: Scan date :dance:

2015/06/16: Case placed under 'supervisor review' :ranting:

2015/07/01: CASE COMPLETE!! (54 days since scan date) :goofy::dancing: :joy: :rofl:

2015/07/09: Received case complete confirmation email from NVC

2015/07/14: Received interview date via telephone from NVC

2015/07/15: Received P4 email

2015/08/20: INTERVIEW!!!!

2015/08/20: DENIED 😢  - Instructed to file I-601

I filed in January, got hosed by the government sequester in November 13 which is when I sent in the forms, still waiting on NOA2. And no, unfortunately there is no way to find out specifically how much longer it will take. All you will get is a form letter run around in response to any inquiry.
