Hi all, I got my IL for April 2nd for the London embassy, it arrived at 12:47AM CT, bit odd as NVC closed about near 2 hours ago. Either way, very excited now and very much relieved. PD is August 27th 2013, case was closed on 23rd January 2014.

I got another checklist but for civil documents...this means my aos has been accepted eventually but the question is, I already send my civil documents long time ago and now they are asking for the whole thing again not a specific thing.. I felt its a false one so when my husband called nvc they told him that civil documents are still missing !!! I felt something is wrong, he even told her that we have sent them already ...

Oh and congrats for all who got IL :)... Goodluck in ur interviews ...

I got another checklist but for civil documents...this means my aos has been accepted eventually but the question is, I already send my civil documents long time ago and now they are asking for the whole thing again not a specific thing.. I felt its a false one so when my husband called nvc they told him that civil documents are still missing !!! I felt something is wrong, he even told her that we have sent them already ...

Oh and congrats for all who got IL smile.png... Goodluck in ur interviews ...

Your case is not the first. NVC already lost documents. You should call and write to them. Have you got perhaps a receipt for the documents sent ?
In the previous topic, one user described the same problem. He phoned NVC and talked with supervisor. They (NVC) checked the information. They made sure that the documents were sent. Then they approved case by copies of documents.

Maybe it was false checklist.

hi guys I have a question NVC asked me to send the original marriage certificate and every thing was good and I did sent it last Saturday I called them last night and they said wait 30 days is that true ? despite that they finished everything and they only need that certificate good luck everyonerolleyes.gif
