i got visa approved last march 17 2014 but until now my visa is not mine. i keep calling 2go they said the embassy did not release yet my visa packet anyone know how many days before getting visa? then i track my passport @ ustraveldocs they said may there is no status update available for the passport number. why is it?? any one know? pls answer me sad.png

hi @tutz01... i got visa appved as well yesterday..however, according to the people or other immigrant applicants yesterday some visas are being delivered after 5 business days and some take 7 business days...i think the process have been changed because when we receive the visa of my daughter it was just 2 days after her interview..but that was few yrs ago..

called nvc ... got checklist for aos... sad.pngnvc said will receive the email maybe nxt week... ( nvc received our case 4 march 2014)

did you already check your email?.. what i know is that they email the checklist right away (i mean right after they review the documents).. if you're case complete then that's the time you will need to wait for a few days before you will receive an email from them...this is just based on my application... they might have change their procedures but better check your mailbox and do share what's on the checklist and we might be able to help..

Good night people,

Good news coming our way. Sent in the Affidavit of Support packet earlier this week and today we received the email that states You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of xxxx. The Immigrant Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid before petition processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed..etc etc.

I am the petitioner and we decided that it would be best if I was the agent also.

So, now the question is, should we pay the immigrant visa fee of $230 now? Or should we wait until we get notification that the NVC got the AOS packet??

We are getting really anxious, so any help we can get, would be appreciated.

did you already check your email?.. what i know is that they email the checklist right away (i mean right after they review the documents).. if you're case complete then that's the time you will need to wait for a few days before you will receive an email from them...this is just based on my application... they might have change their procedures but better check your mailbox and do share what's on the checklist and we might be able to help..
