Yup. Looked it up after I posted. My only disagreement is that I don't consider Medicare and Social Security entitlements bc we pay into those our whole lives.

The programs do have elements that you'd consider entitlements. The problem is no one wants to cut that stuff because it feels bad. So they go after the insurance portions of the programs instead.

More likely, they'd just start pushing their influence through out the world like we do now. Large scale wars aren't really that feasible. I prefer a world where WE control global policy. It works out better for ME. Which is who I care about.

Can't vote. DGAFF not included. I say we return to the Constitution and only Congress can raise an Army or Navy, for one year and two years at a time respectively. If the President needs troops when Congress has not declared a war, he can Federalize those well-regulated militias the Bill of Rights talks about. Most of the bullet launchers are weekend warriors anyways, so the US would still have at least half the current force between the Guard and Reserves, and still be the biggest bully on the planet.
