Yes, I know. Please bear with me as I have an anxiety disorder.

Anyway, I applied for a U.S. Passport on 1/17. The application was accepted on 1/28. It is still in processing. I am getting worried because I applied using the Child Citizenship Act of 2000. Is this what's holding it up?

Vital stats:

Entered the US in June 1993 and issued a Green Card

Passport stamped with I-551 stamp

Mother became a Naturalized Citizen in February 2003. I turned 18 in April 2003

I submitted:

Passport application (w/photo and fee)

Mother's Naturalization Certificate (Form N600)

My translated birth certificate and my original birth certificate

My Green Card

My Polish passport

What's taking so long? :(

Unless you paid for some kind of rush fee, it sounds to me like you're still well within the predicted 4- to 6-week processing time for regular applications. I wouldn't worry about it until March 20 or so (i.e. over 6 weeks after Jan 28).
