I don't think it's accurate as well. I think it depends where your significant other lives.

I've heard that Philippines is much quicker than most places. Canada too.

By the way, I received by NOA1 within a week of filing the petition. Then I see now that they changed the Alien registration number. I heard that means they will approved it in a week or so.

Can you imagine from NOA1 to NOA2 it took 2 weeks.

Alien registration number changing has nothing to do with an incoming approval ... maybe it did in the past, but it seems it's always a few days after NOA1 now. Everything after that is random.

I do not think the estimated wait time for TSC is accurate for the average case. The Philippines cases are being expedited (most cases receive approval in less than 30 days) which lowers the estimate

The USCIS average for TSC is 5 months, which is where you are seeing people say they are processing September petitions (5 months ago). The VJ average, based on VJ timelines here, are closer to 1 mon

01-08-2013 : We decided to be a couple and walk on the same life path!!!!

06-08-2013 : I traveled to the US to stay with my man for 3 months. We got engaged!!!!

Meanwhile :

July 2013 : My fiancé apply for his citizenship.

November 2013 : My fiancé become an American citizen.

12-30-2013 : I-129F NOA1.

01-06-2014 : I-129F RFE ( fee mistake - we sent 341$ not 340$ ) + NOA1 Hardcopy.

You're right. We got our NOA1 maybe a few weeks after my fiance sent the petition. It's been 2 months now since NOA1...
