The USCIS average for TSC is 5 months, which is where you are seeing people say they are processing September petitions (5 months ago). The VJ average, based on VJ timelines here, are closer to 1 month processing times. With that said, you need to expect your petition to take at least 5 months to get approved, however more than likely it could get approved much quicker than that.

Agree with Zedayn.

There's just no way to know for sure when a petition will be processed. You'll drive yourself crazy watching everyone get approved who may have submitted after you. Five months is the the published processing time from the USCIS. It may happen before that, but in some cases it may take a little longer. Trying to predict it is like a dog chasing its tail.

They are averages.....which means some petitions will take a shorter time......which also means some petitions will take longer.

No telling where yours will be.

It is an estimate. There are many variables, including, but not limited to, the number of folks that use the site, AND accurately maintain their timelines.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I would sit back and bank on 5 months from your NOA1 date being your NOA2 date. If you get it any earlier then you will be surprised.

Set low expectations because I submitted my petition 11/18/13 and still have not received my NOA2.

The process is really random unless you are expedited so just sit back and be patient)

11/18/2013 - Filed I-129F
11/25/2013 - NOA1 text/email received
05/01/2014 - NOA2 text/Email received

Have the Petitioner join the Armed Forces and get immediately sent to the front lines. You'll get expedited so you can get together and marry before they are sent away.

I do not think the estimated wait time for TSC is accurate for the average case. The Philippines cases are being expedited (most cases receive approval in less than 30 days) which lowers the estimate but does not accurately reflect what is happening for a non-expedited case.

Also, I've seen a number of users who have listed as TSC as their service center that are really CSC. Since everyone mails their K-1 application to the Texas lockbox...users often put TSC for the initial service center...then enter a "transfer" to CSC when they get their NOA1. So they are really CSC but since they put TSC as their "inital" center, Igor's list (and i'm guessing the graphs on the processing time page) includes those cases in the TSC data. CSC has been processing faster than TSC - so again, the average time for TSC is inaccurately lowered.

it got my hopes up in the beginning when my estimate was showing mid-February.
