From the start of the process until now, which was almost exactly one year ago, I have lost 20 pounds, my sweetie is going to be here on Saturday, hopefully I will be able to put some of that weight back on again once he has gotten back. I think he has lost a good bit of weight as well since he has been away. He has been in South Korea though, and they do not have a whole lot of foods to choose from when you are used to eating a lot of different types of protein that is.

I turn myself to my comfort food when IM in stress..Get bored and miss Gary much I EAT ALOT..LOL!I weigh 100-105lbs before now Im 117!!my size from 26 to 29 arg!and now im panicking to lose weight and trim coz' Gary will be here in 41 days..Gary dont care what I look like though..its just me who wants to try if i can..

Gary gain weight more now since he quit smoking..he turns to eat when he has a cravings to smoke..

We are still not together in US but I believe that I gotta take care when this time comes because I love so IHOP, Wendy's and buffets Mexican food most of all.

But my plan is that I have to make breakfast and dinner myself in my new kitchen and this way solve the problems.

I have told my fiance that the first thing I gotta do before it's to late is be a member of an aerobic course or a similar thing.

In our waiting time I lost a lot of weight in the beginning, but now it is going up and down haha.

Immigration didn't affect much...our weights are within our respective normal range...we eat reduced calorie foods and go regularly to LA Fitness...and Birdwatching is fun as well...plus I am enjoying being the domestic manager while hubby is at work...lol...and while waiting for that green card...

well lets see.. when i went to VA in 2004 i had 98lbs.. then i got sick and had to take lots of medicine and i got really home sick cuz i havent seen my fam in 2 1/2 years nas after a miscarriage and problems i went down to 83lbs.. so i guess i would say yes it effected me..

My US citizen husband has gained at least 25 pounds since I moved here (July, 2004).

I have gained 10 pounds since I moved here.

My husband doesn't go to the gym regularly like he used to, and we both eat pretty good these days.... eating out way too much.

We are both going to start going to the gym and try to cut down on the fatty foods and wine!!!

83 lbs??? wow... you must be ready to blow over with the wind! not to worry tho, you will gain some during the remainder of your pregnancy

i havent seen 83 lbs since 5th grade... i am not a small woman, but i am also not so overweight that ppl call me "fat"... im "rounded" i suppose... most ppl seem shocked if they find out my size or my wt... im tall, so i guess it carries fairly well

i lost a good deal of wt while actually separated and going thru the process... that was a surprise to me... because i ate for comfort too... and yes, cheeeeeeeese and chocolate are 2 of my favs...

ironically tho, i gained it back after he got here (even tho i was MUCH more physically active ) ... but stopped gaining after a few months... im pregnant now, and even tho i am 7 months pregnant, i have only gained 1 lb since i found out that i was... strange, huh?

LOL i've lost a little weight and I am so thin anyway I can't afford to loose it. I guess It's all down to STRESS, my appetite sucks big time. I've never felt like this in my life and really there is no need for it because the happiest days of my life are just around the corner. Any tips on how to gain a few pounds would be great but I am not into eating take-outs, I don't want my skin to suffer anymore than it has already.
