Congrats guys, this is wonderful news for all of us on this journey. The excitement got to me last night and I called NVC to ask for an update but as expected, they informed me that the case review time is 4 to 6 weeks so pretty much I did not get any new information.

Patience is a virtue but waiting 7 years is putting that to the test :). I believe shortly we will all get the updates we are waiting for.

Well not so sure but most people I know went to fill form and do a new request with the stamped visa on ur passport that has ur alien num

Also about the green card did you call USCIS or we will just wait as well..heard someone talk about biometrics..don't know if that one is necessary

Guys i have a question: My mom is petitioner and when I was at interview she was in USA (as its a important thing on that time).. but now that I am waiting for my AP to be over, can my mom traveled in to my country, and stayed until I got my visa and she'll back along with me to US? Or its not a good Idea?

hi

it depends, how long have you been on AP? it can take weeks or months? also, is she your sole sponsor with the affidavit of support or does she have a joint sponsor? will she be quitting her job to be with you or how long does she plan to stay with you? If she is your sponsor and doesn't have a joint sponsor, she can't quit her job, she can visit, but she has to return to her work

why were you put in AP in the first place?

@sata it doesn't matter if she's on holiday in your country it's where she's domiciled that matters. She needs to be domiciled in the United states for you to qualify to live there with you. So she can come into the country.
