Yes, only there is always a chance to get on administrative processing, which would delay your case and what i wouldn't wish to anybody.

Well, I sent my package on the 1st of September(from Lithuania) and still no email, that they have received it.

Is your Priority Date current?

If not, they may delay the response as was in my case. I sent in all my paperwork 2 months in advance and never got a notice of receipt until the 2 days after my number became available and priority date current.

Hang tight, it's coming...

My PD is 12 Oct 2009 and current VB is 22 Sep 2009, so it's 3 weeks and i'll be current. I know, that it takes 30 days to review it, but it would be nice to know did they receive it at all and which is the scan date.

you need to check with your courier tracking system if they have any.

I doubt NVC has received your documents.

Also, CEAC now claim they take 2-4 weeks instead of 4-6 weeks that was there when i mailed mine.

Got LPR status through family in Feb 2017
travelled back to Nigeria in Aug 2017, got married
file i130 for wife and daughter in January 2018
Case transferred from CSC to NSC in July 2019
got RFE in Oct 2019.

next: waiting anxiously for the mail...

Yes, you are right, just checked, still no confirmation, that they have received it, gonna wait a bit more.

Wait hold on. If this week goes by, make sure you check once more.

If you have tracking, the courier will update you if they received the package or not.

You don't want to be stuck in Limbo with missing documents

Hello everyone...Mehn...it was a tough one..I was the last that was attended to..one major lesson learnt. Food is a necessity for such exercise. ?..got to the embassy 6.30am..please for those going to lagos. Please just got straight to the front no need to join queue I wasted time on the queue. Also when u get in no need to join the other queue it's for non immigrant. Just sit where the immigrants are seated. knowledge is key. When I entered the main building. Did the normal checks had to sit again.

So I was called upon. She asked about my dad and why I had to loose my greencard. Told her. She said she doesn't understand. My heart was racing. Also mentioned that my dad has Untaxable income. I was really scared

Then she said they have limited numbers left. I had no idea what that meant but she gave me white sheet to pick up my visa in 10days..but if there is any issue she'll call me or I might have to pick it up in October. I got really confused but left with joy and hoping all goes fine as I don't want any delay..

I guess I'll just be happy then

Also checked CEAC just now. I'm on AP. I hope that's a norm after interview. Before my Bloop pressure will spike

I wouldn't be worried about that.

If it tells you necessary AP then they are finalizing steps to print your visa and stamp in your passport.

For all those wondering, here are the steps:

- You have gotten an interview letter and your case is now ready at the consulate - it will be marked Ready

- You go for the interview and succeed. They tell you congrats and when you can pick up the winning passport - it will be marked Administrative Processing. However, read below and you'll see it says "necessary administrative processing" and that it may take weeks. This is because they are finishing up your scans and printing up your immigrant visa to stamp in your passport and also sending the approval to the department of state to let them know that in 6 months you should be on your way there. A few days later it will read "issued" even before you are told to come pick it up. Every winning passport goes through this phase

OR

- You go to the interview and bomb and they hand you the losing passport after a flat out denial (maybe inadmissibility for some god forsaken reason) - this now reads refused on the CEAC portal

- You go to the interview and bomb but they keep your passport and tell you to come back citing missing documents, more information needed, more proof of relationship (or some other God forsaken reason) - this now reads Administrative Processing on the portal with specific details telling you more information is needed or that more time is needed to process your case (this is where you do NOT want to be). If your AP is approved, it will now read ready once more. Then it will read AP again (necessary AP) and finally issued.

Hope this helps
