@Lauza8....we are all baffled. Maybe as suggested by Cassanoa, ILs would start flying out as from on the 1st of April. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Let's hope they do starting flying...but I suspect another disappointing month.

I'll be happy if there's ANY movement.

Hi All,

I have a question and not sure if anyone can help.. I have submitted all my docs to NVC and I have received a checklist. Apparently they require a fingerprint check for the time i lived in Australia. (i'm Australian originally), I haven't needed one for the UK. Also, last time I went through this process (K2 visa and I aged out during AOS), I didn't need one.

I obviously will comply with the request, but it will delay everything by a couple months. Does anyone know if this is standard? I'm a bit ticked off at my lawyer that she didn't instruct me to do this in the first place months ago. Is this new? I'm beginning to lack confidence in her.. I know this may vary by country but thought it was worth asking.

Thanks,

Lauza8

Hi all

I got my interview last 25 of March, at Sydney embassy, but I'm from Colombia , I was very good same questions as hibjail but the officer asked me about my job , status visa in Australia and previous job in the military forces in my country, she asked me as well for my mom's W2 affidavit support , I think is important , after that she approved my visa, now I'm finishing my job in here to join with my family very soon in Miami after long wait, thanks Good!!

I wish you guys all the best in this long procces, at the end it worth!!

To Lauza8 if a person have criminal records in Australia have to get fingerprints if you don't have do just your name , I did just my mane and worked, no worries about that, I found the information in the Camberra embassy web.

Hi.. may i ask how long it took you to got the iimigrate processing fee bill/invoice? Thanks

I don't know how to answer this question. About 1 and a half month ago we called immigration to ask if all our paperwork was complete because I thought it was and I wanted to confirm. They said no. I need to complete another I-864 affidavit of support, complete visa application for residency and Pay $ 230.00 processing fee. We also had other items to complete. I asked when they were planning to tell me about this and they told me they sent an email in June 2011. Checked that email to find they only told me that I must pay an application fee of $88.00. I paid this at that time.

This suspense is beyond tiring. How come this month is different? Does anybody have an explanation ? Anyways....i believe all will be well in the end.

Hi Harrolds,

Hope that you will receive your IL soon. Someone on F2A has just received IL .

Since there are just few people on March 2007, please kindly keep us informed if you receive your IL. Thank you.

I am here counting day by day to reunite with my family in US. ^_^ , 5 weeks more to the current Visa Bulletin.
