hi guys, my father's petition has recently been upgraded from F3 to F1. Our priority date is June 2004. We have not heard from NVC yet, someone told me that it's taking too long, we should've got a schedule by now.

you can check a new VB each month. around dates of 10-13

oh okay, why is it going back and forth, the May Visa Bulletin date was 01FEB05.

Hey - It's called "Retrogression". Philippines FB-1 category was retrogressed in the June 2015 visa bulletin:

Philippines:

Family-sponsored First preference: This cut-off date had been advanced very rapidly during the past year in an effort to generate sufficient demand to fully utilize all available numbers. The resulting increase in demand has required the retrogression of this cut-off date for the month of June, in an attempt to hold number use within the annual limit for this preference category.

Unfortunately, the consul said there were retrogression for this june and i was in a shock that i think my case will affect the situation. My passport as well as my daughter's passport are still in US embassy. My question is.. Is there a chance that us embassy will issue our visa this june? Thanks for your big help

What's your CEAC status now?

Once June 1 steps in your PD is no longer current so they won't issue your visa. You'll have to wait for the next time your PD becomes current to get another interview. Chances are you will have to re-do the medical and pay another medical fee.

On may 28, my CEAC status is ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING... But on may 30 it changed to READY.. But stated there "ready for interview in consular embassy etc etc..." We had or interview last may 28. And they got our passorts with my daughter.. How long it will take to receive my passport?

@um700: Thanks for sharing your experiences, it was good to hear that at least your sister got the visa soon. Probably in pak it is a norm to go through AP for most of the guys, do keep us updated on your visa status. Congrats for completion of your Interview.. !!

First of all I want to tender my apology for late updating my case progress.

IL received on June 24, 2014 via email

interview held on August 28, 2014 at 07:00 am.

Interview was good, she asked me few questions about my petitioner and siblings. After that she said to me that we put your case on AP and you will receive visa within one to three months. One thing I want to share is that at the time of my sister interview, she was asked to submit DS 260(online), my sister also get IL on same date but interview was held on August 04 2014, although it was not mention in IL. Anyhow we managed to submit it and she got the visa on the same day. Due to this I have submitted DS 260 own my own in order to avoid such woeful exercise. Due to this my interview was sailing smoothly. At the end I request all of you that do not lose patient and consider that every case is different and everyone has it own luck, our cases was filed on same date by same petitioner, got IL on same date even interviewed by same person i.e everything is same except interview dates and at the end she got visa on window and I was put on AP.
