The new visa bulletin is out guys

Aug -1-2007

Now this is my priority date but I still haven't heard anything from the NVC....is this normal, I'm starting to get worried :-(

I think the priority date is earlier than the cut-off because the cut off date is 1 August I think it means only applicant with PDs to 31 July 2007 will be having interviews. good news is you will be in the April VB.

You should be current next month; the bulletin states...

"(NOTE: Numbers are available only for applicants whose priority date is earlier than the cut-off date listed below.)"

Frustrating but you're almost there.

Movement is within the "up to three weeks" advised last month but still disappointing.

F2B is still moving ahead...how many of us would have been current by now in this category?

Yeah, but the problem is that nobdy in F2B is clearing out. There are many cases in F2B, which are incomplete and not even entered in to the consular processing phase.

NVC just dragging the dates forward on papers only, but in reality, there are cases which are pending or not even completed yet regardless the fact that they were being current long back around 3-4 months back. There are very strong chances for retrogression could occur in F2B soon.

Moving the dates on VB is not as same as moving the case out of NVC to embassies for visa issuance.

Hmm, didn't realise that (I don't view the F2B thread).

Wonder why NVC keep the forward movement if they're just going to end up in retrogression? Doesn't make sense to me. All I know it that once my number's up; I'm going to be ready to go...all you'll see is my dust!

Usually, the I/L comes first before the status changes to "ready".

Ready means your case is already at the embassy. Call the embassy. The delay in scheduling is their fault.
