NVC will start giving out interview letters via email starting last week of January until first week of February.

Don't worry about living together with your BF, the embassy understands that kind of situation. It won't harm your case as long as you are single/unmarried. You can go back and get married after you entered the US using your immigrant visa.

Me and my husband was also in the same situation. He was petitioned as F2B by his dad. He stayed single and was able to immigrate with our children. We got married later on and filed F2A.

Good luck!

Thanks apple21.

Hi apple21

in hopes that we do get our application approved, would it be an issued for him to visit us for three/four months or so each year. He has a valid visitors visa and would not overstay his time whilst his application would be pending.

HI Everyone. I have a question for a friend. Do u send photocopy police certificate to nvc or original?

You have to send originals to the NVC and they then send it to the Embassy when your interview is scheduled; however keep a photocopy to take with you to the Embassy.

@shariati...they will send u a notification called choice of agent when they believe dat ur priority date should be current withing six months from date of they sending u the choice of agent notification..It does not mean cos current pd is at an average of 6months to urs, it depends on number of people on the que between the current pd on visa bulleting to wen the believe ura sud be current in another another 6months...so in nutshell, it could be dat u will get d notification very very soon or it may still take several months b4 u get d notification.

2. I/l means interview later...this u will get when ur pd becomes current..it will notify u of ur interview schedule ( day, time and location)
