I agree with your sentiments! My PD is 21 Apr, 2008 for all countries and I too have not heard anything from NVC to start the process. Let us keep each other updated. Thanks for the support. Good Luck to everyone!

Just to let everyone know that my status F3 changed to F1 because my daughter's spouse passed away on 27 Nov, 2014. I have called NVC and they confirmed it.

I think CENOMAR is applicable to few countries only. I havent heard about it here in India.

@ Odoy, you said that your PD is October 2007, moreover you are from Philippines too. How did you get an interview letter so early where Philippines's october bulletin date was 01 September 2004.

Are you sure your pd is Oct 2007??

If he is IR-1 Visa, you are for F-1 category, it is different visas lines

Yes... checked my status today say's "Issued"!!! After 25 years of waiting! But i still have to process the visa for my daughter next week. Everything is good! Thank you Lord!

While I'm happy that children taken into the US at a young age now have to opportunity to stay without fear, I didn't hear anything in the President's speech that would benefit those of us attempting to immigrate legally.

I'm glad he's taking executive action (we all know that current Congress would never willingly accept any proposal put forward), but from a personal viewpoint, he doesn't go far enough.

In fact, I fear that once this all comes into force, our wait time may actually increase whilst they process these illegal immigrant applications.

Everyone is disappointed from the horrendous waiting times they facing. It does not make sense to wait at least 8 years to reunite with their families. How many 8 years do I have in my life time!!!??? This has to change.

i know how you feel... i waited 25 years. Today i just received my visa. I know it is a very long wait... but time flies so fast. You will just get tired if you wait. Make yourself busy, at work or in school. Be productive in life. I know it's hard. Patience will make your way. Trust me... i have been there.

a few countries have a different line, probably it on the reason of a big amount of cases
