There is nothing to be disappointed about. This bill does nothing to all of us trying to get into the country legally, it is basically a bill to give amnesty to thousands of illegals while we are left out here waiting and paying more fees. Yes, but it was also suggested that he was going to take executive action and update the policy so that only principle beneficiaries (and not dependents of) counted towards the available visa numbers. This would have resulted in more visas being available.

No one has received ILs in F1 ... too bad

I think, this situation will remain the same till elections. It seems that democrats are now playing vote bank politics by manipulating the immigration system. Following are F1 dates of Philippines and Mexico of past year, take a look at those unfair movements:

October 2013 September 2014

Mexico: 22 Sept 93 01 Jun 94 (8.5 Months Movement)

Philippines: 01 Jun 01 01 Aug 04 (38 Months Movement)

Whereas, these two are considered under maximum limitation cap of 7%. What in this world can make Philippines move more than 3 years?? On the other hand, all the countries in the world are compromising with just 7 months movement. Does anyone knows any auditing organization who actually checks upon the authentication working of NVC. It seems that a secret executive order was already given a year back to gain an advantage in upcoming elections.

In this new year, fresh quota seem to be failed yet again. Not even a single case receive an IL so far, its already 07th of the month. All other categories are receiving ILs except F1 ....

I think the PD movement at best will not be more than 14 days (ie 14 May 2007), but worst movement can be any thing less than that.

My question is:

My mother is USA citizen but she is in brazil right now.

I saw that she must have her domicile at USA. What does it means?

I know that she must live there.

Is a red flag when I tell the consul about this issue?

Her intention is to come back when I go to USA.

One thing: Notice that we were never able to forecast 3 weeks advancement because there were no IL. So may be our old method of forecasting based on IL is not working so precisely anymore because IL are going out late after VB has been published.

Umm... not IL yet and just checked online the Visa Bul is not out yet
