What's ur PD?? and When did ur case approved by USCIS??

My PD is 01 NOV 2006. NVC asked for the supporting documents we sent them then they again asked for more and we sent them again bu now no reply. (I am talking about the phase before interview, the phase where NVC asks for documents , reviews them and then schedules an interview)

Visa fees already paid for me and my mum but i will be 21 in Jaunary please tell should we contact NVC before I age out or is it ok?

My mother is a single (widow) I am sure our case is F1 that i know. She is the principal beneficiary and her mother (my grand mother) is the petitioner.

Except miracle happens, your mum cant get interview slot before or on jan 2015 based on these slow movements....

Try find out about the child ageing out stuffs if it can help nd do it fast...else you will be 5yrs for ur mum to become citizen nd another over seven years to wait even after she petitioned you

We have a lawyer already but I think the lawyer is dumb...LOL

I'll be more clear about the case

What happened is that yes you all right our case got current last december but the annoying lawyer didnt do anything...i kept on asking for case number so that I could myself email the NVC for further step. After almost 3 to 4 months I finally got the case number and then emailed to NVC, asking for next step. NVC asked for supporting documents so that they could review them and schedule an interview and they also asked for documents from my grandmothers. We submitted all of them, then after reviewing they asked for some more documents from my grandmother and we gave them too.

Now after that we haven't heard anything uptil now and its more than a month :(

My grandmother says she had paid my and my mums visa fee already, so i don't need to worry but I remember i read somewhere that if a child is aging out and your case is complete then you better contact NVC and arrange an interview before the child turns 21.

Now as per your suggestions should I myself contact NVC like I did before? Or should I wait for more time until they have completely reviewed the documents?

And I would really like to thank all of you for the support. :)

@Loba: Dont be dependent on the Lawyer, there is so much of info available on VisaJourney dot com, and other sites on the Internet. You need to call the NVC, and ask about the status of your case and what it is waiting for ? Because if the case is complete then you should be getting the Interview Letter in Sept 1st week or Oct 1st week. Make sure that your Interview is done ASAP, because as far as I know if the Interview is done before u become 21, you are safe. Clarify these things as well from lawyer and Internet sources.

Everyone,

Whats up with the Interview letters ? May & June 2007 PD applicants do call the NVC and checkout whats the status of ILs.

hey G_One,

wassup?? Dude, do u gt any respond by NVC abt the Opt-out matter?? Im worried why these morons take so much time to consider about a LAW. Its US for god sake not any third world country, dont they know abt their laws in detail. It really surprises me and scared to see their style of working. They should outsource their immigration workload to India as they do with IT services :P :p , I bet they won't ... lolzz :P

1. All this mess reminds me that U didn't share about the date when did ur case gt approved by USCIS?? In simple words, how much time USCIS took to approve ur I-130??

2. Share with us, what forms and documents they asked for?? Maybe someone from ur country might help you in getting PCC or Birth Certificate or any other required form.

3. If you and your petitioner already submitted asked documents many times. Then, try to figure it out why ur case is not moving ahead. There might be some fundamental error occurs in processing.

Hi

First of all I want to tender my apology for late updating my case progress.

IL received on June 24, 2014 via email

interview held on August 28, 2014 at 07:00 am.

Interview was good, she asked me few questions about my petitioner and siblings. After that she said to me that we put your case on AP and you will receive visa within one to three months. One thing I want to share is that at the time of my sister interview, she was asked to submit DS 260(online), my sister also get IL on same date but interview was held on August 04 2014, although it was not mention in IL. Anyhow we managed to submit it and she got the visa on the same day. Due to this I have submitted DS 260 own my own in order to avoid such woeful exercise. Due to this my interview was sailing smoothly. At the end I request all of you that do not lose patient and consider that every case is different and everyone has it own luck, our cases was filed on same date by same petitioner, got IL on same date even interviewed by same person i.e everything is same except interview dates and at the end she got visa on window and I was put on AP.
