My visa was issued today, and I received both my passport and packet. I've already purchased my plane ticket! Thank you all for the support you all shown me, and the guidance to get me through this lengthy process. It was a long and frustrating journey, however you all made it bearable with positive thinking and the information on timeline. I'm not leaving you guys, I will be here to help motive, encourage and must importantly to provide feedback and guidance.

Thank you all!

congratulations. Enjoy your new life and country.

At the bottom of this month´s VB, you can find a section call “Visa availability in the coming months”, and it has a reference to de Family Based categories.

I am not sure how to interpret this. Does it mean that F1 numbers are being given to employment categories because F1 does not use them? :

VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

2) declining number use in the Family preferences during May and June, combined with updated estimates of such number use through the end of the fiscal year, has resulted in availability of several hundred numbers for use in the China-mainland born Employment Third preference.

I saw that too and have no idea what it means!

By the way, does anyone noticed an F1 movement of phillipines in august bulletin. I think no, otherwise it must became the hot topic in our discussion. We all were too busy in understanding that last paragraph of bulletin about visa movement predictions.

People, I would like to bring this into your notice that phillipines moved more than an YEAR in just one month. Kindly, revisit the August Bulletin once again and gt shocked.

July 2014 Bulletin Date: 01 Jan 03

August 2014 Bulletin Date: 01 JUN 04 (18 Months Shift)

I dont know how to react on this, is this a positive sign that worldwide dates will move too in this freaking way soon.

Or we are suffering because NVC trying to eliminate the waiting times of phillipines and mexicans by allocating unused numbers which they have used miserably throughout this year.

Q1. What about per country limit rule??

Q2. What about unused numbers transferring??

I have no idea, it just left me clueless right now. Strange move ...

What you people think about this?? Please do share your views.

hey, by the way, just thought of a question.... regarding the medical exam, the I-693, can you do it ahead of time before your priority date becomes current? or do you have to do it after the priority date is current on the visa bulletin board? (I saw a recent posting on USCIS website that I-693 is only valid for a year starting from the date it is submitted to the immigration).

you can have a medical examination prior to the interview. but, remember: that the visa has a period of 6 months from the date of the medical examination and not the date of the interview.

for example: if you pass the examination for 5 months and 3 weeks prior to the interview, you can get a passport already expired visa)) and the probability that you send in advance to complete a medical exam one more time.
