Congrats Heralds!

To everyone waiting for IL, please hang in there. I know how nerve-racking this tedious wait can be, but, trust me, there's light at the end of the tunnel. This is just to let y'all know that i got my visa too! Praise God! My interview was on the 12th of July and everything went smoothly. The questions asked were the basic ones and all I tendered were my int'l passport, police cert. and two passport photos. God bless y'all!

Thnx for the heads-up, at least it didn't move a week this time. On the other hand, F2B made a whopping 2 month movement. Damn!

I guess so I only hope that because that will be the last bulletin for their fiscal year they actually make a big move that would be great for all the others behind me.

At the bottom of this month´s VB, you can find a section call “Visa availability in the coming months”, and it has a reference to de Family Based categories.

I am not sure how to interpret this. Does it mean that F1 numbers are being given to employment categories because F1 does not use them? :

VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

2) declining number use in the Family preferences during May and June, combined with updated estimates of such number use through the end of the fiscal year, has resulted in availability of several hundred numbers for use in the China-mainland born Employment Third preference.

My visa was issued today, and I received both my passport and packet. I've already purchased my plane ticket! Thank you all for the support you all shown me, and the guidance to get me through this lengthy process. It was a long and frustrating journey, however you all made it bearable with positive thinking and the information on timeline. I'm not leaving you guys, I will be here to help motive, encourage and must importantly to provide feedback and guidance.

Thank you all!
