Thanks a lot for this apple21, you're truly a blessing. Is there any hope for any forward movement at all.

The cut-off date usually advances rapidly by the end of the fiscal year. Hence, if there should be any worthwhile forward movement, it will take place in the coming 2 months, let us just keep our fingers crossed because these are only predictions

Do u really think that it would gonna move for a MONTH. Month is a huge expectation now, it has become the same like F3.

Dont be unrealistic, its better to find an alternative like F2b. People should need to join the F2b queue again to make this category alive, its not balancing right now. F2b is running with the gud speed and overcome F1 successfully, I will wait for this year or till Jan 15. If this would remain the same with F1 then I will switch to F2b and join that category yet again. Dont know how much true is that fact of conversion from F1 to F2b.

Just dropping in to say, we called NVC, finally got through.

They said they have an interview date scheduled in Kiev on July 2nd, and that they havent sent out the interview letter yet, but should receive it soon.

So based on this, I guess most letters, but not all letters, come during the first week of the month. But some still come even after the VB is posted.

Thanks again for everyones help.

And to comment re: slow movement of F1. We really need immigration reform in the USA and it should be (and is) a non-partisan issue. When you look at why is F2B moving faster than F1 now, America's broken immigration system is your culprit. Its frustrating but the only way to change it is to become an advocate for change, contact congress, write letters, make phone calls. Support candidates who take a non-idealogical, pragmatic approach to immigration. /rant off

Congrats! Maybe the USEM in Kiev is the culprit because they were late to give out their available interview slots to NVC. The only work for NVC is to send out the I/L emails.

Good luck on the interview.

THey probably want an updated AOS with 2013 tax information from your sponsor. Be sure to bring a copy of your sponsors 2013 taxes just in case. You might even want to bring an updated AOS with the new tax info to have all your bases covered.

IF a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) AND provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal Income Tax Extension in lieu of a Federal Income Tax Return, the applicant must bring the sponsor's most recent Federal Income Tax Return to the visa interview.
be able to bring 1040 and/or w2 forms
my case complite from 6th of april 2011 so I-864 is too old and i have to bring new one

Hello All,

I have a question. Before i submitted the DS-230 form, now should i use the DS-230 part II or should i submit the new form online DS-260? Since my case was completed before NVC announces using the DS-260.

Thank you for all your helps.

the DS-230 part II u have to sign during interview time only.

all applicants F after 1th of September 2013 must fill this form

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/forms/online-immigrant-visa-forms.html

but u can check specific inforamtion in US embassy in your country

for example for me
