Hi thank you, embassy says it cant do anything yet because it hasnt received my documents from the NVC. Meaning, I give them my case number (KEV###) and its not in their system/cant do anything yet. This was some time ago though, not within the last 2 weeks. Maybe will try contacting embassy again.

If your CEAC status now is still "at NVC" meaning it hasn't been sent to the embassy yet due to the interview not yet being scheduled.

AOF Received: 19th Apr. 2012

Case Completed: 27th Aug,2013

​I/L Received: 2nd Jun,2014

Medical Exam: 6th Jun, 2014

Interview: 1st July 2014

Visa Issued: 10th July 2014

Entered USA: 26 July 2014

Driver License 29 July 2014

Social Security# 05 August 2014

Job# 01 October 2014

Hey Guys, I just wanted to update on my progress. I have completed my medical exam. I'm going to apply for my police record next week.

Hey Cassanoa apart from the updated tax papers were u requested to bring an updated Affidavit of support.

In my letter the code states that NVC has sent the financial evidence to the embassy. It does not ask me to bring it along. But it does state somewhere on the letter that even if i have submitted documents that i must still bring them with me. Does that mean that i must bring along an updated affidavit of support.

It would be appreciated if anyone who knows the answer can reply. Thanks.

Just an update. Still no letter and last night called NVC and waited for 3 hours with the busy signal continuing through the entire wait...

We are having our congress person look into the case since we cannot get in contact with the NVC.

Try emailing them.

THey probably want an updated AOS with 2013 tax information from your sponsor. Be sure to bring a copy of your sponsors 2013 taxes just in case. You might even want to bring an updated AOS with the new tax info to have all your bases covered.

Thank you for replying Walfredo. I will speak to my mom and the co sponsor to prepare another affidavit of support just in case it is needed. They have already sent me the updated taxes.

Hey everyone, this is my first post, I'm wondering if there are any posters in here with their PD in late July- Aug 2007, because mine is on 1st of Aug 2007 and I can't wait till it becomes current. Any predictions on how long will it take :)

Can anybody please explain what this means? Cos there is no prediction this month. Does this mean F1 category is about to retrogress? This is disheartening.

Retrogression happens when there's a significant "leap" in priority dates. That's not the case with F1 considering it moved by a mere week.
