Just Read this ....

Family First Preference (F1):  Worldwide, China, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, and Honduras:  The continued high level of demand for F1 preference numbers has required the retrogression of the final action date for the month of September.  This action has been taken in an attempt to hold number use within the Worldwide F1 annual limit.  The final action date for these countries will return to December 22, 2010 for October, the first month of fiscal year 2018.

lol! Im new here...sorta! My PD is Dec 2010.... But they havent called me for my Interview Date, and they told me that they had  a long waiting list. So im guessing, this explains a lot....

Does this means I have to wait for like another 6 months till my PD is current?

My case has been closed since August 2016, but my priority date has been current since May 2017. So I was really hoping for my interview Date to be soon.... :(

damn you should have gotten a date from long time. Exoticprincess was december and she got interview in may and is now in america

wafelc, you most definitely should've gotten your Interview date already, cause as Jamaicankim stated, my Priority Date was 01 Dec. 2010, I received my Interview letter in the last week in March (my PD would've become current in April) for a 01 MAY, 2017 interview date and am now in the US.

Here's hoping October will be the month for both you guys. :)

Has your case been processed as F2B and later transfered to F1?

This process is just so stressful. My PD is Dec 27, 2010. I received CC on Mar 20, 2017. Watching and waiting for IL and VB every month is just too stressful.  I  can't wait for this process to end.

Well, I have analized VB movement in recent months and came to conclusion, that it won't move till new fiscal year, as worldwide visas has been stopped and it mostly been alloted to Philippines, plus it retrogressed to May and we remember very well how fast 2010 jumped forward till December. Several factors have an impact on retrogression:

1. Issuing visas for earlyer PD's now, which were delayed by Checklists or other reasons;

2. F2B opt-outs to F1;

3. Alloted visa quota for Mexico and Philippines.

Don't worry guys, the next fiscal year begins the next month with new visa quota and September VB states, that in October they'll get back to 22 December 2010. I would expect movement in November VB and would expect IL at the end of this month for PD's till 22 Dec 2010.

Good luck to everyone;)

Hi Khadija. So sorry your case was dragged for this long. Hope you'll get your case sorted out soon. Stay positive. The visa bulletin will go back to Dec 2010. That part wafelc quoted was from the bottom part of the current bulletin.
