After I sent the documents I received a letter with missing documents 6-7 weeks after sending the first package. But what you should do is call NVC and tell them you haven't received the missing documents letter. If they know already what you are missing you were supposed to received the letter.  After I sent the missing documents it took 8-12 weeks to receive the CC letter

Thanks . They didn't sent any latter they sent a latter for my sister certificate but yesterday they just ask in phone send ur updated text return..

When I called to NVC for my case, one representative also asked me for more docs, but I said, that extra docs will be submitted at the time of interview and she said, ok. Btw, 2 weeks before my interview, I received a mail directly from the embassy and they asked for that particular extra doc, that I would bring it to the interview.

Been thinking, will they give you a new scan date? But I don't think so, as you haven't gotten a 2nd official checlist. Call them at  the end of the month and will clarify that. It's nothing bad to call NVC once in a while, it won't affect your case badly, just be nice and polite talking with them.

Yeah!!!!!!!!! Congratulations Jaymal! :) With all the rains falling all night into this morning, I was thanking God that today was not my Interview Day, totally forgot today's your day.

Details, what was your experience like? did you by chance get the Chinese male Interviewer?

I got there about 7:30 but had to wait a few before they started queueing 8:15 and 8:30.They moved pretty fast I guess in case the rain started again. You were soooo right I had to ask which section was for Immigrant visas because I sat down with a group of people who were non immigrant visas.lol

I was directed to another area where they explained the courier registration which I did prior to the interview.went inside documents were collected..passport,birth cert, police record and pics.also was fingerprinted..I was then asked to sign a document stating I would not get married before leaving for the U.S. Waited another 30 mins for my name to be called.. Then it was time:D..strangely enough no nerves were present.lol  Consular Officer was a very upbeat young lady..very pleasant and smiling

Questions:

Who is the petitioner to you?

Is the petitioner working?

Have you ever been married/ charged with any crime?

Stayed in the US more than 6 months?

Then she explained no fingerprints for your son due to his age and that was it.. Your visa is approved, you will receive in one week:jest:.was outta there by 9:50am

I tell you.. I feel 10 lbs lighter.lol

Khadijah, just hang in there, I know it's easy for me to say, but you will get to the finish of this long journey.
