Thank you, well, my family is coming here for the summer and beside of that I own business here, which isn't that easy to give up, it takes time to make it run, when i'm away. I wish I could just pack bags and go straight away, but I can't, too much responsibility

HELLO EVERYONE..

 

MY PD IS 22/NOV/2010, IM AN F1 (FAMILY BASED) MY PD IS GONNA BECOME CURRENT ON THE MAY BULLETIN. I WAS WONDERING HOW LONG DOES IT TAKES TO RECEIVE A LETTER WITH THE INTERVIEW DATE AFTER THE PD BECOMES CURRENT. MY GF IS HAVING OUR FIRST CHILD DURING AUGUST AND I HOPE I CAN BE THERE BY THEN. I'VE READ THAT IT CAN TAKE UP TO 4 MONTHS BUT I DONT KNOW IT THAT IS ACCURATE OR NOT. NVC HAS ALL MY DOCUMENTS COMPLETE, I'VE PAID ALL THE FEES. SO IM NOW WAITING BUT I WANT TO KNOW BASED ON OTHER EXPERIENCES HOW MUCH LONGER SHOULD I BE EXPECTING TO WAIT.

Hi welcome, 

I got my confirmation by calling Nvc which was a few days before visa Bulletin was updated, then I got the letter via email the following day. The interview is usually scheduled a month after you receive letter. 

Call Nvc at the end of the month, and good luck

I Called NVC yesterday and they told me that they are still working on April's bulletin and that they can't tell me anything about the May Bulletin yet. Im really desperate because I don't want to miss my child's birth. I hope I can receive the confirmation letter and interview date soon, about my documents they said they've got it all and it's good. I had to send a couple of documents that were missing though.

They told you they are working on the April Bulletin? but the May Bulletin has already been posted......

Yes, as far as I know they post it in advance. She said, we are working on April's bulletin, we aren't May yet.. so you still need to wait until we start working on May's bulletin

Your pd is already current. Once you receive case complete letter, expect interview date at end of month.
