Got greencard yesterday (dec 20) Ssn= recieved State ID= recieved Greencard= recieved Apply for school for my daughter= approved Finish with uscis until citizenship time.

Ok, so my sister called NVC on Monday and she was told that mine and my sister's cases were all now closed as of February 24! Haven't gotten the official email as yet, hopefully we will get that sometime this week. :)

Congrats! Happy to hear, that your case is going smooth! At CEAC you also should see 3 N/A.

I checked just now but still only seeing 2 N/A.........

 

Yesterday I received an email from NVC re: Checklist. It basically said that they would go ahead and schedule my interview but at that time I should take to the interview and not send to them some clarification about the I-864 that my Mother submitted. So it's possible that's the reason I'm not seeing those 3 N/A's is because of that?

Halllo everyone . I was in f2b  last novembar my catagorey changed to f1 . My priortiy date was for f2b 8 novembar 2010. I got well come latter from f2b  now my question if as my catagorey changed will nvc send me well come latter again for f1 catagorey ? I'm confused if anyone know or anyone catagorey chnaged like mine Ples shre

 Do I have to all the same process agin like f2b or I just have to wait for case complite . November 2016 my catagorey changed f2b to f1 . And then I cant see any case status in online . Nvc told me to do online application again for f1 I did it's been two month I didn't hear anything form nvc . I just only got the latter they receiveed my documents which I sent . What I ment to do now should i wait for Thire reaposne or I should contact them .

My category changed when my mum became a citizen, but I can't recall getting a new welcome letter from NVC when that happened. Either way it is your category which changed not your PD, so don't worry about it.  Just remember that if get married before you have your interview and enter the US your category will change to F3 and your wait will also be a few more years.

 

My Journey

Priority Date: July 24, 2007 (EAC)

AOS fee paid: February 2013

Request embassy change: May 2013

Son born: September 2013 (added to petition March 2014)

Interview: March 17, 2015 (Joint sponsor needed)

Joint sponsor documents submitted: April 27, 2015

Visas approved and issued: April 30, 2015. Had to return to embassy to do oath for son :)

Visa in hand: May 5, 2015 (two working days after issued)

IV fees paid: August 10, 2015

POE: JFK - September 10, 2015 (one day before visa expiry date - No hassle)

Returned to Barbados: September 28, 2015

Green cards: October 5, 2015 :dancing:

Entered US permanently: March 22, 2016

Applied for SSNs: March 28, 2016 (didn't tick box on DS-260)

SSN received: April 4, 2016;

Learner's permit: April 7, 2016 (in NY you also have to do 5-hour class);

Driver's License: July 13, 2016 (on first try) :dancing:

Husband's Journey (F2A)

Married: September 2015

I-130 sent: October 8, 2015 (via USPS)

Priority date: October 9, 2015 (WAC)

Petition approved: March 8, 2016 (5 months to the date of receipt) :)

NVC Welcome Letter: May 13, 2016
AOS documents sent: August 8, 2016
Case complete: September 14, 2016 (the waiting continues:clock:).

Interview:  October 5, 2017 (Approved - Issued following day :))

Visa in hand:  October 12, 2017

POE:  October 13, 2017

So you completed your DS-260 as F1, and your docs are being sent as well? What does your CEAC status say?

Is your case already completed?

I think, you should clarify with NVC what does that checklist mean. If your case is completed, you should see the AOS fee with N/A instead of PAID. And you should receive an email, that NVC got all required documents and you are awaiting in a queue for an interview appointment overseas. Or you can wait a bit and will receive that:)
