Can someone please tell me whether NVC reviews the civil documents thoroughly or they just make sure that all the documents are submitted irrespective of minor errors in them. For example, they mention that the place of birth must be mentioned in the birth certificate. but in my birth certificate, the city where I was born has incomplete spelling(they have written it in short form) Will my certificate be rejected by them? Do they ignore small spelling mistakes?

This calculation is wrong...bcoz the input data taken is wrong...

The link or the pdf files from which u took the data (number of petitions), states that there were 92947 petitions for particular september month of the year 2001 and not for the whole fiscal year 2001...

Similarly,

Total number of petitions for September month of the fiscal year 2002 = 64304

and

Total number of petitions for September month of the fiscal year 2003 = 62612

Guys

Total number of petitions from sep2000 to seo2001 is = 92947

Total number of petitions from sep2001 to seo2002 is = 64304

Total number of petitions from sep2002 to seo2003 is = 62612

pd from sep2000 to sep2001 took 24 months to complete which is 30% more as compared to 64304...

It means that from sep,2001 to sep2002 it will take 18 months to complete...10 months already gone up to October VB which is 22jan,2002...now they will cover pd up to sep,2002 in remaining 8 months.....

And from pd sep,2002 to pd sep,2003 it will take 16 months .................

It's for whole year and not for one month...92,947 petition can not be in one month...

Source ? If obama increase cap from 7 to 15 ...i guess India Cut off may get slow , i may be wrong

If this happens...Initially it will be fast and later on due to more filings it may slow down.. :secret: ...Atleast for now 15% is a good change..it may really require more than this to reduce the present backlog... <_<

Good Luck

Hi Krunal and Seper !

I am having the same case as yours. Right now i m above 21 but my cspa age is below 21, hence i m eligible under CSPA rule. My pd is Nov 2002.

If ur cspa age is below 21, then dont worry. Wait for any notification from NVC regarding COA and AOS. Mostly there wont be an option on the website to pay ur AOS & IV fees, but ur parents will be able to pay their fees online. So, at that time, just send an email to NVC regarding this and incase they dont respond and tells u to wait for ur pd to get current, then wait for ur pd to get current. During the visa interview of ur parents, they just have to tell the interview officer that you are eligible under CSPA rule. The interview officer will check the documents, and if they conclude that u r eligible under CSPA rule, then they will tell u to pay ur fees and ur interview will take place within 2 weeks.

This is the best i know right now.

I will keep updating you once my case goes further.

If anyone finds this incorrect, then please feel free to advise us.

Thanks !

Good and timely help..

Good Luck

HI All,

I have a quick question for all, if anyone can shed some light.. My mom files 3 cases under F4 and all the cases are complete waiting for visa #'s. The priority date is Feb 22, 2002.. it is really close and hoping it will be up soon.. My question is that do i need to redo all the DS260 forms and the documents again since my mom is the benificary and filing for her brothers and sisters in india.. i would think since all the cases are complete that it would be all good and nothing is needed until the visa #'s are avaliable.

Can someone please shed some light this way i can take proper action if needed.

Thanks once again

Regards

cdamania

and sharing u facebook links of some lawyers (may be that cud help u out) :

https://www.facebook.com/myimmigrationlawyer

https://www.facebook.com/NewYorkImmigrationAttorneyusa

i advise you to consult an immigration lawyer, bcoz this is a critical case...

but i hope there must be some way for this kind of scenario...

as far as i know, u need to file a separate petition for this and that comes under the category "humanitarian reinstatement" ... and takes about 3-4 months to get approved by USCIS...

good luck :)
