Hey guys ,

I have to fill ds-260 for my parents and I am facing one confusion. My mother's name's spelling starts with "SH" in the petition and school leaving certificate as well as in translated documents. But her name starts with "S" in passport. Someone advised me to put the name mentioned in passport. What should I do? Which name should go in ds-260?

One more question. In IV packet only principle beneficiary's pcc and other documents are required? Or for all beneficiary?

You should start your mother's name with SH in ds-260 and get the name rectified on the passport. Since your mother's name in the school record starts with SH, the passport authority would not mind to correct it on the passport.

Sachin i have a question. While sending the civil documents of the applicant, was the cover letter(checklist) sent along with them? Is it required to send the checklist along with the documents requested?

I don't know if it is required or not but I did send cover letter which has bar code with all mail to them.

I remember reading somewhere that we have to send that letter with all document

I will suggest to change name in passport. changing one docuemnt is easier then many.

for ds260 you have to fill our for all beneficiary. it should be available and done on-line.
