Hey guys,

I received following mail today. Can anyone enlighten me for what does this mean?

We are done with sending AOS and now we need to pay DS-260 fees.

Following is the content from mail:-

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 16-JUL-14.

We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documents received.

We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete the review of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents.

We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Now NVC sends out Ds-261 and other fees 8-12 months before....so it means that Aug,2002 got their papers in June 2014.....so it means that Aug,2002 will get current in April 2015 Vb will be Aug,2002.......as simple

for eg. previously nvc sends out papers 12-18 months before...f3 dec,2002 got their papers in April,2012 and got their visa in aug,2013..which is after 17 months........

You don't need to provide any documents related to CSPA till the visa interview (according to what i think)..Since you are over the age of 21, you would not be able to pay the IV fee and submit the DS-260 along with your family(My sister is over 21 and she could'nt submit them). But during the visa interview, the visa officer may ask about you and if he does'nt, your parents can tell him that your are covered under CSPA and your process will start after that.

To calculate your cspa age, you need to subtract the time period between your priority date and the approval date( NOA2). After subtraction, if you are under the age of 21 till your PD becomes current, you will be benefited by CSPA.
