Can anyone please help me out...
I have attached a snapshot of the current online status of my case...
The first name is of my father's name and that's why the relation is "PRINCIPAL" .
The last two names are of mine and my sister's name, and that's why the relation is "CHILD" in both the names .
But the second name is of my mother's name, still the relation its showing is "CHILD" instead of "WIFE".
Its a mistake...
Can anyone please tell me what should i do now ?
Should i contact NVC for this mistake ??
Or is it the same thing in everyone's cases ??

Check the petition documents(I-130 i guess) in which these details were filed. Check it was filed properly.

for correction send a mail to NVC(nvcinquiry@state.gov). Usually they reply within 7 working days. No need to panic. they will ask for a valid proof for the relation and then correct it.

For contacting NVC follow this link http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc/nvc-contact-information.html.

You can alternatively call them but waiting time is too much.

batman, I will say call them.

or better tell your dad to call them.

If english is the problem then have someone stay home with your dad and call them.

Wait is worth it as you will get this fix faster over the phone probably.

I called NVC yesterday for "F4, 3rd Jan-2002, Beneficiary is in London"

NVC said we are waiting for visa to be available and we do not need any paper work from you at this time.

Hi everyone,

My PD is oct 2002, could anybody kindly tell me when can I possibly recieve COA? And I hope the CSPA still works for me(my case got approved in 2009 so there should be 7 years for CSPA and I'm now 22).

And since I'm very new to English forums like this, I really would like some meaning of the words you guy use, like i/l and COA and PCC. Could anybody please explain to me? Thank you very much.

coa - choice of agent

pcc - police clearance certificate

pd - priority date

ds261 - dsl ( in old time )

Read following completly and that will avoide many problem in feature. I think at this time they are sending first notice i.e COA letter around 10 month before i.e you should get COA in Dec-2014
