VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

2) declining number use in the Family preferences during May and June, combined with updated estimates of such number use through the end of the fiscal year, has resulted in availability of several hundred numbers for use in the China-mainland born Employment Third preference.

That's a good indication..the demand in the FB categories have started decreasing..

Before last retrogression of 731 days(February-2011) cutoff date was on 01/01/2002, now again cutoff date is same & by this time we lost almost 4years from our life. They are allocating unused visas of family category to employment category.

How could there be unused visas from family category when there are over 2.5 million people waiting on line. That is ridiculous.

Why don't they just tell us how many applicants (excluding unknown derivative beneficiaries) are ahead of us so we can estimate the total waiting time. That way we can decide whether or not we should wait. Why false hopes? Our time is precious and we don't live forever.

In 2009 the visa date was advanced by 615 days and in 2010 by 846 days. All of a sudden in Feb 2011 it got retrogressed by 731 days and it took 1277 days to get over with it. If they had to retrogress by so many days, why did they advance it by so much? It is not a rocket science, it is not that complicated. Back in 2010 I was ready to pack up my bags as I thought with that trend my visa date will be available within next 12 months, but now it seems like it is still 8 years away.

All we want is data .. why don;t they give it to us? What's so private about it?

You are the best jolly..thanks for uploading the link.

What I observed is that the petitions till august 2001 were quite high due to which the bulletin was moving quite slowly. There is a possibility that the applicants of LIFE act received the final action earlier this year due to which the movement became extremely slow. I think that the annual quota of visa number has reached in our category and the VB for September 2014 won't be more than 15JAN02. But from October 2014 VB onwards we would be able to see the same movement that happened during the 2000 PDs as the demand in 2002 is almost same as that in 2000. I think that in FY 2015,the annual movement in our category will be at least 1 year. Moreover, July and august 2002 applicants received COAs last month which means that by June 2015, all applicants with PD before September 2002 will be current..

Now i have some hope that i will be able to immigrate before next summer..May God bless all of us!
