@patelmotel :- If you have not received an email so far how come you are optimistic about your interview? Did NVC give you any prediction about your interview schedule. If you don't get an interview the bulletin will not progress even by 2 weeks!! It seems a bad news though!

05/03/2014: Something to Watch Carefully in the Upcoming Release of June Visa Bulletin - Potential Regression of FB-2A and EB-3

  • AILA's meeting with the State Department Visa Bureau indicated that there is a potential regression of FB-2A (spouses and children of LPR) and EB-3 (skilled workers) categories in May or June. Potential regression of F-2A may be caused by recent speedy processing and adjudcation of immigrant visas for the immediate family members of permanent residents, causing high demand for the visa numbers for this category. It is thus critically important that those whose FB-2A and EB-3 visa numbers are currently available in May should make it sure that they file I-485 applications before the end of May. The June Visa Bulletin is expected to be released early next week and we will be able to see the actual situation soon. Please stay tuned.

I am optimistic because in recent past PD is moving at least two weeks per month and hoping that it will continue to move two weeks per month. That means my PD should be current in June VB. Last month NVC sent IL as late as 7-8th April. So we still have some time to be optimistic :)

Actually You are right because some time NVC receive orders by the end of month or start of the month from DOS Bureau of consular affairs so when NVC received that applicants list which are going to be current then NVC start sending interview letters. Some time earlier and some time late.

DOS has has separate entity and NVC has its own. it is true NVC dont know about future movement but NVC just report demand and number of petitions which are documentary qualified to DOS.

Next process start from DOS to publish VB and make demand and supply according to US immigration law and visa limitation.

GOOD luck
