Hi Seper,

My situation is same like yours... My PD is Nov 2002, and i completed COA on 17th Feb but still i have not received welcome letter (official email from nvc) nor aos fees got invoiced...

Few days after i completed COA, i had called NVC for my case to know why i have not received welcome letter yet... The operator told me that my case got current on 10th Feb for further processing and i will get welcome letter within 42 days from 10th Feb...

Now, i waited for 42 days and on 44th day (i.e. 2 days back) i again called NVC to ask for my case. The operator replied me this : "Your case is going through necessary administrative processing and unfortunately there is no time frame for it." I got really tensed after listening "administrative processing" .

Then after 30 minutes, i again called NVC and fortunately a different operator received the call, she replied me : "Looks like your case is almost ready, someone is already working on your case and we will send you the initial instructions (welcome letter) in this week or next week, so just wait for our email."

After the reply of the second operator, my tension got disappeared......so now i am waiting for the welcome letter, i hope it comes next week..........

I would advise you to call NVC on monday for your case and ask them what's the status of your case.....you will get an idea where ur case is upto........

The reason behind our situation is that in our case children above 21 age are involved.....i mean its cspa case and thats why they are delaying so much....i dnt know why they are delaying this much and what kind of process are they doing..........

And ya, sahil (one of the members of this forum) got welcome letter and aos invoice few weeks back and his pd is 31st dec 2002....

Many of my friends have received welcome letter and aos invoice in the last 2 weeks.... their case is same like us, cspa case........

Lets hope we get the welcome letter and aos invoice very soon... :)

Hi...Even my pod is nov 2002, i got my welcome letter and AOS invoice on 9th march...completed coa and even paid aos fees...but IV fees is not yet invoiced....even u both will get soon... but our name is not added as our age is above 21...as batman told lets hope to get visa under cspa .

Hi Guys

i think 100% NVC will open COA for all cases from 1 Jan 2003 to 30 Jun 2003 .. because there is few cases are completed from Sept 2002 and up

so the VB will run faster parallel with the COA of the first 6 month of year 2003 to get more completed cases for interview .

I need your idea Guys...............

You can check the above graph...

Good Luck

He tried many times .. but call didn't go through ... he tried early morning .. late night .. but its always busy or the IVR disconnects him when it asks to press 3 to talk to representative.

Though I doubt anyone will get interview date with PD in august. Maybe next month they will get the letter or email.

Good Luck..

Retrogression occured in May 2008 & Feb 2011..feasibility of this happening this year..Right now the criteria for a Retrogression is only with the Immigration Office...

Good Luck

Guys don't worry

No chance of retrogression right now because in 2008&2011 vb move 2-4 months

But since last 2 year vb moves week to 2 week

And nvc started process for jan2003 as they know this time 6 week movement

Retrogression only possible if movement is more than 2-4 month

When demand is more then there might be a Retrogression ....

Good Luck

I also think about that man

After sep will current and oct case not complete

So chance of retrogression or no movement in coming vb

Will there be any retrogression looking at the current movement. This time its 6 weeks for sure. And october-november-december people have just strtd receiving COA. And have heard that there are less cases from July 2002 onwards. What do you guys think will there be any retrogression?

Try calling them again and ask abt the interview again.

:) ...True,,,,Visa Demand & Supply, Future Petitions filed etc...might be the Criteria for Retrogression too...

Good Luck

And yes retrogression does not come after every few years

Some specific reason behind retrogression

You Only quoted the reason for that...

Retrogression only come when case numbers are more than annually limit

0% chance

Jan2003 coa open show that case demand low

True...I agree with you...Think also about the Visa Movement too..

Good Luck
