Hi all F4's

I just had my interview on 13th march 2015. All went well and visa was approved. This is how it went.

Our time was 09:30 am . But we reported at 0800 and to our surprise we were escorted directly inside.

So advise everyone is to reach an hour earlier than time given.

After security check was done, an Indian lady escorted us to the immigration visa section. For visitor and student visa there is a different section.

We were made to sit and the lady asked each one of us( I, my wife &my son) to arrange documents in following order.

1. Interview letter

2. DS 260 conformation letter

3. PCC

4.Medical reports(Without CD)

5. Copy of Marriage certificate(Separate copies are needed for Husband & wife)

Then My wife who is principle beneficiary was asked to get the Token from the window.

After our token was displayed we all went to the respective window where an Indian lady asked for our passports(Last previous passports if any are also taken)

She took our medical reports, PCC, Copy of birth certificate and copy of marriage certificate(Separate copies are needed for Husband & wife).

She gave us back all the original documents submitted with NVC.

My son was told that he should not marry before getting GC and will have to enroll for Military services.

We were again told to wait for our token no. to display.

After display we went to the window where we were greeted by an American CO. First all of us were made to read the oath bu raising our hands.

He started by asking my son what he was doing in India. How old he was. What was calling him. What she(petitioner) does. When she last visited India. How may children she has.

Then he asked my wife how her sister first went to USA. Then he asked me what I do in India. Then for a few minutes he started searching on his computer and finally he declared that our

visa are approved and will get your passports from your specified pick-up location within a couple of days. We were given a sheet of paper stating we will have to pay $165 for each person

before coming to USA.

We all said a big Thank You and left.

The whole process took us less than 2 hours from entry.

Advise : Please take enough copies of all documents as inside cost of one page photocopy is $1(Rs.64). Also keep coins (change) as they ask for exact amount. Nothing less or more.

Thanks all F4's for your valuable updates and advise.

Thank you for sharing ur experience. All the best :)

Really, I still can't believe you because I can't find logic behind this. Now I have one more aunt with july endind PD, According to you our (my mom, two aunt & uncle's family) interview will be reschedule to june-2015, when my second aunt's PD become current. I don't think so.

If you don't find any logic then I have nothing to say. This the logic set by the US embassy. However I just share my experience which I actually faced. :)

Quite Similar Messages !! :P:P:P

Anyways, don't worry if you are eligible under CSPA... this is NVC's process to remove children's names who are above 21 and during their parents' interview their cspa case is evaluated....and if the visa officer finds u eligible under cspa, then your visa will get approved... Do not worry. Right now relax and pay your parents' fees and send their documents and complete your case, then wait for your pd to get current and once you receive interview letter for your parents, contact embassy regarding your cspa case, the embassy will handle your cspa case. Everything will go smooth as long as you are eligible under cspa.

Good Luck :)

Thanks for your response... So u think i should not call NVC and talk about this case. Will they add our name before our parents interview or will they look into this matter at time of interview and do all other process later on.

 Sorry if I sound rude. I was not questioning your logic, I was just sharing my thoughts (not facts) on the topic. Any way lets see, time will tell... only a week to go

Thanks for sharing your experience :D

My question is why should the "Uncles" wait for other...Why can't they complete their own interviews?...

They can celebrate "together" after their Visa is Approved.. :)

Yes You are absolutely right. It depends on consulate. In my case, when when I was planning for interview and took my leave from office at the year end and in that time US embassy called me and rescheduled it for next month with my sister . Then you know what is my condition. So I am just sharing the experience those who have similar issues. Edited by ikabirul
