Sorry, Forgot to answer...Student Visa is not a dual intent visa which means you cannot do a Adjustment Of Status when you get a F4 Visa Interview....You can study on F1 Visa but when there is a F4 Visa Interview scheduled, you should take the Interview in Canada..

Good Luck

Hi Visa Grant,

I just read your post. Yes, you can do AOS from F1 student to F4 in USA. Why you say you can't. Please let me know. I am on F1 now.

okay... email them as soon as possible...... and don't listen to what the NVC's operator told you........you got your interview letter, ryt ?? that means your visa number is available..... if your visa number was not available, they would not have sent you the interview letter... sometimes we just get into contact with dumb operators of NVC.......

after you send an email to the embassy, call them again in 2-3 days for the matter.....

one more thing, when they will finish reviewing your brother's cspa case, and if they find your brother eligible under cspa, they will make DS-260 available for him and then you would be able to complete that form..... i guess they will make DS-260 available on ceac for ur brother a week before your parents' interview....

Good Luck :)

Hey - I did email them - and I also started online chat at UStraveldocs.com - and they told me to email the inquiry over there - and than asked for all the details so I resend the email that I initially sent to NVC and at support-India@UStraveldocs.com - got a reply back today as follows:

Your case has been updated, please log back into your account to view the details.

Date/Time Case Opened: 3/9/2015 1:40 AM Description: My son do qualify for Interview under CSPA for F4 visa - what to do to get our case reviewed? Origin: Email Case Reason: Immigrant Visa Information Public Response: Applicants are requested to bring copy of birth certificate and passport od the child on the day of the visa interview, office will inform you about the CSPA eligibility, and if s/he found eligible under CSPA, then further procedure will be informed.

YES.... Login to Ceac website using ur case number and invoice id number and check ur status there...they are talking about ur ceac account.......

Just check the "Check my visa application status" as well as the "fees payment" page or "summary page" where ur parents name are displayed, they might have displayed ur brother's name and might have invoiced his fees and DS-260....... if not, then they will make ur brother's DS-260 form available 3-4 days before ur parents' interview...so keep checking ur status on ceac... good luck, and ya do update us about ur brother's case, bcoz i am also under cspa and my pd will get current after 4-5 months...so it would be a great help if you would share the further details of ur brother's cspa case... :)
