Please Help!! My PD is 20 April 2002. My parents has paid the fees and done the paper work.. document status is complete. According to calculation I still come under CSPA my fees is not paid nor any ds260.. so my question is does my parents have to fill any form for them after they get interview letter? does any process need to be done for me to get my fees and ds230 to get accepted and all other papers also before the day of interview comes.. I wish to go for interview with my parents and make them show I am eligible for cspa.. i want my visa to come along with them. Guide if i need to do anything to go along with them for interview.. thank you!

12/16/2014: SKILLS Visa Act Back on Spotlight By Being Placed on the House Union Calendar Yesterday

• This is the bill, H.R.2131, which was introduced by Rep. Darrell Issa of California on 05/23/2013 with the 22 other Republican members of the House but failed to see any fruits and spotlights because of the GOP-Democrat confrontations in 2014. Yesterday, the House placed this bill on the Union Calendar #507, as a signal that the House leadership will indeed focus on piecemeal legislative immigration reforms including border security and high tech foreign worker immigration reform by the Republican Congress ahead. However, this bill has a poison pill to eliminate immigration lottery system to offset the increase of number of immigrants by high skilled foreign workers. Unless this poison pill is compromised and removed from the bill, this bill will encounter a strong resistance both in and out of the Congress and the Obama Administration. Because of this poison pill, the bill encountered a strong opposition from the African American congressional caucus, among others.
• This bill proposes the following, among others:.........................
  • Increase the per-country limit for family-based immigrants.

I feel that there will be more amendments to this bill before it becomes law....as such there the is more awareness on the Immigration, Democrats may add in some changes...Letz Hope..

PD Sept. 2002 Civil Documents sent except PCC. Should I carry PCC in interview or send to NVC?

If you have already got the Interview Letter, then provide the PCC during the Interview, otherwise send a copy to NVC..

If i sent all the original documents and passport photos, then by the interview I dont need to take anything else ?

...Do carry a copy of all the Documents and there is lot more like DS260 Confirmation Page, Latest AOS and more photgraphs taken with the Petitioner...etc

Once it changes to N/A...it means there are no checklists for you and within a weeks time you should receive your case complete email and then onto the local consulate...

Why did you wait for the 60 day review...you could have called NVC earlier....

Hi my pd is 16 april 2002. case completed in 2011. AOS fees paid. Visa fees paid. In CEAC site my AOS fees and AOS documents status shows N/A. My VISA fees shows N/A and also civil documents also show N/A. What does it mean. I had filed DS 230 in 2011. DO I file DS 260 ONLINE?

Call NVC right now and let them know ur details and as such the PD is cutting close and time for the Interview Letter...i am not sure whether NVC will accept your documents...Why did you delay so long...If feasible, try to convince NVC to let you pay the fees and fill the online forms and provide the rest of the documents, if you are allowed to Interview along with your parents...

You have to file the DS260 and it is mandatory to take the Confirmation Page to the Interview. Most of the DS230 Information has to be entered in DS260

Ashpatel, my case is same as you and I am also going through same confusion. The only diff is that my PD is 6th Jun-2002. Once you complete your visa interview Please let me know the procedure & paper-work that I need to do. My mai*l id is jigar_rj@*yah00*.*in (avoid * sign in id). Yes for filling DS260.....Not sure on the Interview Call Letter...Call and check with NVC

You can inform NVC that you would be providing the Latest PCC at the time of the Interview..

Where is the Petitioner..?.. ..Tell them to Contact NVC as it is quite important issue..

Hi, last week I wrote an email asking for my status to the Lima embassy, today I received an email from them and they told me that they didnt receive my case yet. So......what should I do know ? Why NVC takes so long to send it? : (
