Very good information send to me by Patelmotel. I would like to share because I didn't understand whole process till I got this.

I was looking around but all this acroname is hard to grasp at first

This is for F4 and F3

PD=Priority Date I think this is when you get first NOA (notice of Action)

Then there is another same type of letter you will get called NOA2 (second notice of action)

then your case will be transfer to your country, in my case it went to bombay and so case number will cange to BMBxxxxxx

You will receive choice of agent papers (COA ) approximately a 8-10 months before case becomes current. ( i.e today people who has file on July-Sep-2002, F4 should get this)

After this, they will ask you for AOS (Affidavit of Support) and IV (DS-260) application.

Submit it and they will send you interview letter when your PD becomes current. (people who has file on Dec-2001 should be getting interview letter)

Hope this clears up some air for new people.

Thanks for sharing the valuable information Mr. Sachin1, has anybody of AUG/SEP202 got COA ?

The movement of visa bulletin depends upon the documentary qualified cases.right now DOS have documentary qualified cases up to JUNE,2002.......
