Am I making mistake on not doing paper work for F3. Here is my situation.

I have file for my brother i.e F4 PD Aug-2002, I got the COA and AOS letter but I am sitting on it.

Dad file for my Brother i.e F3 PD April-2004, All paper work done, Case is complete

Should I go ahead and do paper work for F4 as well?

And no movement in F3. ######.

I think I am just going to pay $ for my F4 case as well and get both (F3,F4) going and which ever comes up first will take it.

The best answer for your question is yourself...You have to decide based on your scenario..None of us can guage the gravity of your situation..

Good Luck.

Immigrant Waiting List By Country Immigrant visa issuances during fiscal year 2015 will be limited by the terms of INA 201 to no more than 226,000 in the family........................

Personally, i like this report from NVC inspite of the delays from them...Year on Year they produced this report and the DOS was reading this too....But from the President EO this year, this report assumes significance as the DOS has to come up with some measures to reduce the backlogs...Hope something turns up...

My Analysis from this report...

First F4...2,455,964 pending petitons includes the count of the derivatives too..Assuming a family of four as part of the count and divide the number by four..it ends up with 6,13,991...so, not counting derivatives as part of the visa numbers will certainly have an impact in the backlogs

It is better right now for the F2B categories to be in the same position rather than converting to F1....

The % change of filings for the Employment Green Card has decreased from the previous year for EB2, EB3 & EB4...

Good Luck

Math is fun...Thanks to the Member TheBigO...Eventhough from case complete to Interview date is around 2 months (Approx)...the below equation from the member made me realise that aspect...Check on your cases and Have Fun and No questions of Ifs & Whys...

As per the member analysis...

"I now get a linear regression of

y = 0.7502x + 107.01,

where y = Case Complete (as a numbered day of the year) and

x = IV Scan Date (given as numbered day of the year).

The Rsquare value is 0.7081 on this which means between the IV Scan Date and Case Complete there is a 70.81% correlation.

Now, using 95% confidence level, we can say the margin of error is 5.81 days (this is worked out after figuring out the mean, standard deviation etc.)."

Good Luck

This is a great report do some calculations but you can not completely rely on stats for Employment base categories as this is count from NVC. For EB categories mostly people will go for Adjustment of Status (AOS) which is handled by USCIS. NVC come into picture only during consular processing. Just my two cents.

My PD for F4 case is 6th June-2002.

We had completed all document procedure back in 2011 including AOS documents & Financial Evidence, AOS fee, IV Application (DS230 form), and IV fee ($404). Then unfortunately retrogression of F4 category took place & everything gets postponed.

Now after 4 years my case will be current in next 5-6 moth (just a prediction). And when I log in into ceac.state.gov using my NVC case number & invoice id It shows

  • N/A in AOS documents & Financial Evidence, AOS fee & civil documents,
  • Paid in IV fee,
  • Incomplete in IV Application for primary applicant, and
  • Not starded in IV Application for accompany.

What dose this mean? Do I need to fill DS260 form online?, DO I need to submit AOS documents & Civil documents again? Or above all of this, will I get visa interview call later directly when my case will be current?

Please guide for the further procedure according to new rules.

Thank you.
