Hi,

Can anyone help me in letting know when I can receive my packet - 4

I received a message from NVC that on December 13th 2006 that my NVC processing is over and the documents has been sent to Chennai consulate for further processing and any further inquiries should be sent to chennai consulate.

What will be the process taken up in chennai when NVC has completed its processing? what will be the approximate time to receive packet - 4. Is the packet -4 the final one which is sent for appearing for interview?

What i should do? can i send an email asking the chennai consulate to update my case status?

Kindly help me!!!!! what i should do next?

In my case when NVC sent documents to Islamabad Embassy after that i receive packet 3.5 in which they ask me to send original documents for example Original birth certificate, DS 230 I&II. I sent back the documents. I am now waiting for final packet 4 which will be for the interview. You can also see my signature's timeline.

Though my processing was very quick ie 8 months, now i am waiting for packet 4 just like you. I have to receive from Chennai consulate and believe it will be scheduled anywhere in the month of february or march...I check with appointment for January 2007, I dint c my case listed. Just have to wait!!!!

they generally send packet 4 within a month . If the petiitioner can go to the consulate he can have the packet right there some people have tried it n they were successful so u can try .
