So CMS is proposing to remove protected status under the Medicare Advantage program from certain classifications of prescription drugs, including immunosuppressants, antidepressants and antipsychotics.

The proposals are made under the guise of cost savings, but there appears to be bipartisan opinion that the opposite is actually the case and that this is just the beginning of the Federal Government's rationing of healthcare.

So, is it a cost saving exercise?

Or, is it all about control?

It's about killing costly old people. It's either that or more taxes and America's preference is quite clear. Are you surprised? I am not.

Isn't that supposed to be the GOP's thing?

Have those pesky Democrats stolen another lame Republican idea and made it into reality?

It's not the Democrats. It's just that evil President. He hates old people. Always has.

Maybe it's a nefarious plan to ensure the GOP retakes the Senate in November. ;)

Because it's certainly not about making healthcare more affordable, or improving the level of care for seniors.
