Hello everyone, I've been reading this forum for months until I decide to become a member. To make my story short , it takes my fiancè 10 months until he got his visa approved , after his interview on 2/6/14 , they gave him a pink slip and been told to get the visa package on 2/14/14 , my fiancè has been going back and forth to Haiti messenger , they still do not have his passport ready, I'm very frustrated and worry. Can anyone facing the same thing . Please let me know God bless

***Just a quick tip: If your fiancé is in Haiti, you may want to update your profile and change it to Haiti instead of the United Kingdom so it posts in the Haiti forum. *** :-)

I've been hearing about lots of delays in Haiti lately... Another member's fiancé had her interview back on Jan-13 (I think) and they are still waiting for their visa too. We are waiting since Jan-15 for an official answer on ours. VERY frustrating and CIVA is a joke!! Wish there was somewhere we could all email/call aside from the consulate in PAP as not one of our emails sent to papcons@state.gov is ever answered. Anyway, you're not alone in this so take a little comfort in that I guess, ugh :-(. Anyway, hopefully other Haiti members will stumble across this and post their experiences too. Hopefully we will all hear something very VERY soon. Hang in there & keep me posted on how things r going...

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!
