Does anyone here from Haiti try to call CIVA from the US and has been put on hold forever? I have been trying them since Friday and been put on hold forever even though I know they are not gonna tell me anything

Good lord, CIVA is the joke of all jokes... Have you tried calling the NVC and selecting option 3? They are who I call now and although our status hasn't changed yet, they've been helpful in answering any questions I have. In the 10+ times I've called CIVA not once has anything they've said been correct or polite. One of the guys (I call him the "listen" man as I swear he says that word every other word) told me he was speaking to the consulate in one breath, then said they all left for the day so he couldn't answer my question.... smh.... frustrating.

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

Yes, they told me there was a problem they don't know what it was, they also said it maybe a problem electronic and to check back with them in a week
